So happy that my friend Patricia Conlin was elected regional councillor for Scugog.
She is an absolutely champion, and I can truly say Scugog is lucky to have a true representative who loves her community.
She was there for me when I began my political journey, and thank her.

Carolyn Parrish says she's known for the last day or two she wouldn't win and she's at peace now.
She says she did a good job but should have simplified her message.

Lula won the Brazilian election today, which goes to show that winning an election is not about how many people support you, but how voters turnout.

The only party to blame for the NDP's loss is the NDP. Even if all Green voters, plus everyone who voted CWP, CentreBC, CHP, Communist, Freedom, Libertarian, OneBC, Independent and Unaffiliated all voted NDP instead, the Conservatives still would have won a majority.

I am begging polling companies to start giving us data by race, we got ONE this entire campaign and it wasn't even detailed.

Does the PCQ consider themselves to be the spiritual successor of the Union Nationale?
If so, this could suggest an overt right-wing alternative for nationalists in Québec, and it gets me wondering what their relationship is with the federal Cons.
This will be interesting!
