CBB Sicko

Terrible Tuesday slate this, need more competitive matchups that Let’s just shut up and appreciate that we get to watch Juke Harris drill some contested mid ranges on a scrappy Kevin Giltner led Wofford squad on a Tuesday night in November

It was so awesome watching Jordan Watford in person yesterday. I will definitely be making it down to Curry Arena for a game this season. Kids a beast

Going back to work 24 hours after watching elite hoops in Rock Hill for 12 hours is criminal. I need at least a week to process my experience because my mornings will never be the same Where’s Isaiah Miranda when you need him

Reigning MAAC Player of the Year Kevair Kennedy was on triple double watch in his Wake Forest debut 14 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists along with 4 steals Steve Forbes got himself another great PG

Wake Forest pulls away in the second half thanks to a 20-0 run. The Placide twins looked awesome in their debuts. Gavin Placide : 20 pts 7 reb 8-11 FG 3 blocks 2 steals Gallagher Placide: 13 pts 2 reb 6-10 FG Final score in Winston-Salem: 83-62

A 2 hour drive from Rock Hill to Winston, 4-hour nap, and we’ve made it to the Mecca for Year 7 of the Steve Forbes era. 5th college basketball game attended in 24 hours.

Clocking out after some good ball watching. Arrive in the dark leave in the light. Just walked outside for the first time and it felt like I’ve been stuck in a cave for weeks. I love it. Time for a nap…

I leave beautiful Rock Hill after 12 hours, 4 games, 4 national anthems, 2 wedgies, 3 coffees and an awesome experience. Thank you @GoodmanHoops @TheFieldOf68 I will be returning next year. Let’s have a season.

Dare I say Queens has a better squad than last year? The reigning A-Sun champs hang on to beat Winthrop 103-98. Jordan Watford was incredible with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists

Winthrop will not go away. Spence Sims hits 2 threes and the Eagles trail Queens 83-92. 3:58 remaining

It’s all Queens so far in Rock Hill! Last game in the sicko slate and I’ve never felt more alive (and awake). Jordan Watford and Nasir Mann are putting on a show.

Nasir Mann dialed in early. Looks to be a good one between Queens and Winthrop

I think App/Merrimack definitely filtered out the weak if you have been in Rock Hill since midnight. Not me though! One more to go and it should be a good one.

A wire to wire win for App State over Merrimack in Game 3!

Joe Gallo’s signature Make Chaos 2-3 zone may be a better wake up call than the sunrise (scoreboard aside)

If I could describe the Rock Hill 3am game with 3 visuals:

Isaiah “Iceman” Miranda drops 29 and 8 in a dominating performance against Northern Illinois. 10-12 FG 4-5 3PT 3 Blocks. He did a between the legs dunk in warmups then proceeded to slap his face to wake him up. It was at that moment I realized the 3am window was made for him.

This is why you play at 3am. Grambling earns a lot of respect and draws a lot of eyes in a flashy and exciting victory over Northern Illinois. An insane sicko game that had everything you could want from a 3am matchup.

High Point takes game 1 here in Rock Hill. Unbelievable atmosphere. High energy the entire game. Props to both sides really showing out. Felt like a conference championship. HPU is a deep and physical squad that can definitely run it back in the Big South. Shoutout @TheFieldOf68

Notre Dame!!! In Italy!! This is a much improved Irish squad. Fast and feisty team that will definitely be able to compete in the ACC. Huge win for Micah Shrewsberry and a great way to kick off the CBB season Now I’ll see you in Rock Hill tonight 😏😏
