We can feed off the shame and anger all day or we can give in to the idea of getting more. It's that simple. Getting more means leadership. Leadership to change what it means to be a Republican. Not a side show, but spine of steel conservatism and fighting for we the people.

I'd like for everyone to close their eyes & go back to 2015. Now imagine a President of the United States with a midterm message of publicly talking DAILY about man a** & BJs. & how he could end a deeply unpopular war anytime he wants & doesn't give a damn about gas prices.
Trump: "I said, 'Melania, how great was I, baby? Was I great? Can anybody do it like I do? How good was it?'"

Last week I was asked if we could take 2 golden retrievers who had been surrendered. As soon as I saw the video of them looking frail, broken and unwell I agreed. 2 very kind ladies fought for their freedom and drove the dogs to meet our team today. The story is complicated and I won’t go into it here. What I can share is that a third sibling died. Although these 2 dogs look ok at first glance there are so many problems. Their fluffiness is covering some very malnourished and unhealthy dogs. Despite that their tails won’t stop wagging. The ladies who saved them named them Bonnie and Clyde. The perfect names for 2 dogs on the run from their past and hoping to start a new life with us. There are a lot more questions than answers right now for these 2. What I do know is that we will try our very best to save them, build them back up and make better lives for them. Bonnie and Clyde have had some early treatments and are sleeping beside each other in the hospital. Let’s see what we can do 🤞❤️

On Tuesday's ballot (or really all month because the uniparty broke our elections) we will have two leftwing parties to choose from, neither of which will actually run on their liberal positions. Cheers to those looking to build a choice.

Sad when a formerly good man promotes keeping his higher salary than the governor's over elderly taxpayers being able to keep a little bit more money.

Every government agency forgets, not one dime they spend was made by government, it was our money we worked for. I've seen the spending frenzy at the end of every fiscal year because there was budget money left over. It's always spent on items no one needs or wants, but never returned.
If you are LEO, what is making you support amendment 3?

New story and 🧵: Earlier this month, just a few days before early voting began, Ken Griffin, a hedge fund executive worth an estimated $57 billion, sent seven-figure donations to a pair of Florida politicians who seem to be stuck in surprisingly competitive elections...

I don't think many understand how significant it is to lose red states post-realignment. I'm not here to dwell on the past. But will anyone do anything different moving forward?

Interesting take. Framing divided government as a deliberate structural brake on unified power rather than simple gridlock shifts the conversation away from the usual partisan scorekeeping and toward how institutions actually constrain (or fail to constrain) concentrated authority. Whether that framing holds up depends on how you weigh the trade offs between slower decision making and reduced risk of overreach, but it’s a perspective that forces a clearer look at what checks and balances are meant to do in practice.
Divided government is the feature, not the bug. Unified power just lets the Uniparty spend, regulate, and ignore you. Split control forces them to fight each other instead of the taxpayer. Demand the check.

Monday is the day. xitter.cf/i/spaces/1yGBePWEDLyKN The Conservative Hour returns. Early voting is already underway. November 3 is nine days out. Control of the House and the Senate is on the line. Republicans are defending a thin majority. Democrats need only a few seats to flip the House. The Senate is a steeper climb. This is the first major test of Trump’s second term. History says the party in the White House usually pays a price. The question is whether this time is different. Tariffs and executive power are already in the courts. Democratic attorneys general are challenging fund shifts, civil service changes, and regulatory moves. Farm and manufacturing districts are feeling the trade fights firsthand. Campaign spending is at record levels. Outside groups are flooding the airwaves. Both sides are fighting for working-class suburbs and rural margins while Democrats push turnout on affordability and healthcare. Those issues sound familiar. Americans are saying the same things. Tomorrow we take this head-on. Our speakers are ready for the heat. The listeners will add the spice. Chris G, Salty, Lauren, and Nathan are the hosts. They will conduct this symphony of ideas. There is only one place to have this conversation. Edu-tainment lives here. Do you want this smoke? Let’s find out.

So I’m watching the Lions Packers game this afternoon ( good one all the way to the end) and I get a political call. I pick it up and the lady says she is calling from a PAC called MAGA PAC. She lists all the great things Trump has done and number 3 is Mortgage payments are much lower than under Biden. I stop her and push back with data about mortgage rates 2 years and ago and now and a discussion about the Fed and the bond market. She stumbles and says we need to give Trump and the GOP 2 more years to fix this. I ask her what’s her basis for predicting lower mortgage rates as they are linked to the 10 year bond rates and they are not about to go down with the massive increasing debt and high inflation. Next sound I hear is a click. Was it something I said 🤷🏻‍♀️
