#EU #贸易 #反倾销 #硅 eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg_im…

EU Registers Silicon Imports from China The European Commission on 23 October published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/2346, making imports of silicon originating in China subject to registration for nine months, in connection with an ongoing interim anti-dumping review. The product concerned is silicon (symbol "Si", atomic number 14), currently classified under CN code 2804 69 00. EU customs authorities will register the imports under Article 14(5) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036. The registration was initiated by the Commission on its own initiative. On 1 September, the Commission opened an interim review of the anti-dumping measures on Chinese silicon following a request by Euroalliages, which argued that overcapacities have led to significantly increased Chinese imports at injurious price levels, and that the measures in force no longer offset the effects of injurious dumping. The current measures are the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1394, as extended to silicon consigned from Korea and China's Taiwan. The Commission said registration aims to collect data on imports after the investigation period to inform action needed to restore the effectiveness of the measures. #EU #Trade #AntiDumping #Silicon eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg_im…

🌍 Join Our Webinar | EU Sustainability Due Diligence in Global Supply Chains How are EU sustainability and supply chain due diligence requirements affecting companies with China-linked supply chains? And how can companies navigate the evolving regulatory requirements in both the EU and China? 📅 23 October 2026 🕙 10:00–11:30 AM (Brussels Time) Understanding Growing Regulatory Requirements and Navigating Countermeasures The EU is increasingly introducing mandatory sustainability and supply chain due diligence requirements, requiring companies to identify, prevent, mitigate and address risks across their value chains.
