In the name of Christ, we pray.
Listen to today's prayer or read a plain text version at cofe.io/TodaysPrayer.
ALT Almighty God, you make us glad with the yearly remembrance of the birth of your Son Jesus Christ: grant that, as we joyfully receive him as our redeemer, so we may with sure confidence behold him when he shall come to be our judge; who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Due to inclement weather, tonight's #blueadvent service will take place on-line. Go to blueadvent2022.eventbrite.ca to register for the zoom link.

Armistice Day calls us to remember the horrors of war, honour those who laid down their lives for us, and pray for all those affected by conflict.
We are also called to pray for the reconciling power of Christ to transform us into those who seek justice and peace.

Christians and churches across the world are marking All Souls' Day.
Also known as the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed, it is a time of remembering those who have died, especially in the past year.
ALT Eternal God, our maker and redeemer, grant us, with all the faithful departed, the sure benefits of your Son's saving passion and glorious resurrection that, in the last day, when you gather up all things in Christ, we may with them enjoy the fullness of your promises; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
