I devote a lot of time to appreciating Lenny’s greatness when covering the 1950s in my PSU football history class. Amazing to me how high he still sits in the program record books despite the many remarkable talents playing longer seasons who followed. 🐐

Side bar. I just don’t find BIG 10 football enjoyable or fun to watch. Yes, USC played horrendously. Yes, they deserve to lose. But having every team try to shorten the game on you and getting seven or eight possessions is just not a fun product.
