Nice to see Pro-Ref are upholding their new time wasting gimmick but only against one club.

I don’t think he helped himself with that wording. Nobody wants to hear “least important competition” straight after going out. We’ve had enough disappointment. You can explain your priorities without making the cup sound disposable.

My son was devastated when Bale left. Erik Lamela was doing a meet and greet fans at Harlow Spurs store. He didn’t turn up and some kid called @HKane did. My son was devastated and wanted to leave but told him you never know how these kids turn out. We stayed. 2013. #BallonDor

Oxford Street is being pedestrianised, so pedestrians can now enjoy the fresh thrill of being mown down by bikes instead of a bus. Another triumph of planning by people who apparently never walk anywhere. Could they not at least have put in a proper, segregated bike lane? Now pedestrians are left dodging bikes, while phone thieves can help themselves to a ready-made hunting ground. Oxford Street: pedestrianised on paper, free-for-all in practice. Who thought this was a good idea?
Oxford street tonight …what could possibly go wrong??

Good. It was a crap idea imo. As I have said for years just use the position of the feet only. So simple for everyone to see. And Lukaku's Cup Final 'winner' would have stood! 😉
🚨🚨| NEW: Arsène Wenger's 'daylight' offside trial is unlikely to be extended after a 𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 at IFAB's assessment panels on Tuesday. 🚩🇨🇦 Across 112 Canadian Premier League matches: → Offside decisions dropped by 54%. → 13 additional goals were scored. → Defenders played 3 metres deeper to avoid being caught out. Oxford St. no longer a destination for many Disabled People. Exclusion, why @MayorofLondon Do we have to take legal action against you under the Equality Act for failing to provide reasonable adjustment? We don’t all have power wheelchairs nor able to have use mobility scooters.
My concern about Oxford St pedestrianisation which no one has picked up on - cuts to bus services & lack of choice for passengers with disabilities. 94 no longer serves Piccadilly to Marble Arch was always busy. Only option now 139 via Wigmour St to Portman Sq at 10min frequency

Also, the notion that Oxford Street was 'dominated by traffic' is just not true. Lately it's been dominated by vape shops, tatty tourist stalls, pickpockets, fraudsters, so-called American candy shops and other money-laundering outlets, and those hideous rip-off Tuk-Tuk things covered in garish lights playing loud music. If @MayorofLondon wanted to revitalise Oxford Street, he should have made it a bus and black cab-only zone and clamped down on those monstrosities.
The whole of central London is in gridlock thanks to this

"You can stick your new stadium up your arse" sing the United support. Reinforcing the point that the performance of the team is the most important thing for match-going supporters.

I actually think there’s 3 red cards in this sequence 🤣 - Van De Ven tackle - deliberate hand ball from Fernandes to stop Palmer going 1 on 1 with the keeper - Palmer’s attack on Fernandes
🚨 Should this have been a RED CARD for Cole Palmer ? #CHETOT

I'll forgive everything apart from a lack of fight. That performance by the team and coach were unacceptable against anyone but even more so against them. How the manager didn't change anything at half time was baffling.

I think there’s a tipping point coming in the not-too-distant future when match-going fans simply call it a day. Speaking to a lot of people recently, there’s a growing sense of disconnect between the club and its supporters, particularly after the way fans were treated over the summer. The feeling is becoming increasingly widespread, and I think the club risks underestimating just how much that relationship is deteriorating.
All the chaos at United starts and ends with the ownership. We all know this. Everything in between - the standards dropping, the football falling apart, the culture eroding - has just been the inevitable fallout. Until that changes, nothing will.

A little snippet... Not everyone at Chelsea loves the Penders/Courtois comparisons. Some think it invites unnecessary pressure on their 21yo Belgian. But there is a nice tale connecting the two. Penders’ father, Peter, is friends with Courtois’ old man, Thierry. When Penders was once struggling to find boots that fit properly because his shoe size is so large, Thierry heard about the problem, and made sure he received the perfect pair 🤝 More in the piece:
