Claude Code is still way better than Codex Last night I pointed Codex Astra at an existing Osprey app compiled for macOS and told it to create a new similar app that CC had no trouble with It wrote the whole thing in Swift. It had no idea the point was to use Osprey

This is also why we need open source OSs It’s why Windows and macOS may become untenable unless they are open sourced
I hope people realize that governments and other actors are already using spyware to exploit these vulnerabilities They’ve been telling us they’re doing this for over a decade This is how they hack phones and computers Get it now? Maybe time to fix the holes you think?

The number of times I’ve pointed out security holes and people have said things like… “It won’t happen” “You’re being paranoid” “We don’t need https. We can just encrypt it ourselves”

I hope the takeaway from this PHP thing is that people start to wake up to the fact that our software and infrastructure is like Swiss cheese, can’t be trusted and this is the work of HUMANS. AI is not the threat. Infact, AI is the ticket to finding and fixing the security holes

Both Deslop and SharpLsp are now at a stable point where the hard decisions have been made and each release brings better stability and functionality. I strongly recommend checking out both repos to check out the structure and workflow 👇

So what actually happened? AI found a PHP bug that was there for years and told everyone? Or someone got a bad PR through and got it deployed? Was it AI that wrote the PR? Was it deliberate?

You can laugh at PHP and Node now, but your tech will be next. AI knows about all the security flaws and nothing is safe. Start by scanning all your dependencies and using good AI models to review your code for security holes Tell Claude/Codex to do penetration testing

Queue governments blaming AI companies for security holes in open source software that exposed their systems… It’s time to pull our heads out of the sand and actually fix software security issues No, humans can’t fix this. They created the mess. Only AI is useful at this scale

I built this macOS/iOS tool to help recover space on my hard drive with Osprey. It interops with Swift really well. Osprey is shaping up to be a great language to build apps with. ospreylang.dev/docs/tutorial…

It amazes me that more people aren't solving this with automation. It can be done. I'm doing it. So is @CFDevelop.
Anthropic’s report is basically saying humans are the bottleneck. “Amid this model-driven acceleration, human attention is a constant bottleneck. Claude sessions amount to around 80% idly waiting for human input. As one engineer put it, people are “bottlenecking the agents.”
