You can't expect to turn a team around in one year.
Reality:
Utah was 5-7 last year. They are ranked No. 3 this season
Kentucky was 5-7 last year, and though they lost to TN, they will still be top 15 or so this week
UCLA was 3-9 last year...
Utah and UCLA don't play the toughest of schedules, but they also don't have the NIL budget or talent level of UF.
Is Jon Sumrall going to be great, good, or bad in the long run? I have no idea, but let's not get caught up in the narrative that you need several years for a rebuild in the NIL era. It's been proven over and over that you don't.

The next time our boosters want to piss away $30M, they should liquidate their bank accounts into actual paper cash, put it all in a blender, reduce that paper cash down to a powder, pour the powder into their coffee and drink it.
