Our 2026 Transportation Report Card makes several recommendations for how the region could improve its poor transportation grades. One is changing our funding priorities and expediting @mtamaryland 's BmoreBUS plan.

Fortunately: after Baltimore leaders spoke forcefully last year, Gov. Moore changed the transportation budget (CTP) for the better.
Unfortunately: this year the draft CTP is bad for Baltimore. Again.

We have the resources to build a world class transit system for Baltimore. We just have to make it a priority.

Baltimore fought and Governor Moore funded the start of implementing the BMORE BUS plan for better bus service. Keep fighting Baltimore until Governor Moore funds finishing it, too.
P.S. Always great to see elected leaders riding the bus. @ElectEdelson @Zeke_Cohen
Baltimore fought for this. Maryland is accelerating nearly $25 million to jump-start a new bus division - the linchpin of the BMORE Bus plan and a major step toward expanding service for the workers, students, and families who depend on it every day. Grateful for Del. Edelson and every advocate and rider who packed hearings and rallied in Annapolis to make this happen.
