Carrie Jo Coombs Russell, daughter of GNCC founder Dave Coombs, was hurt in an accident at the Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
Her brother, Racer X's Davey Coombs, says "a large limb fell from a tree and hit her across the shoulders. She suffered several broken bones and ribs, but fortunately has full feeling and movement."
He adds "it will be a complete recovery, thank goodness. She'll be back to the races in due time."
