Just now, @DenCityCouncil unanimously approved a budget amendment that will direct nearly $30M to stop evictions. That means 5-6K households won’t be displaced in 2024.
Huge thanks to all the advocates who worked on this. @COCommonGood @TogetherCO @denvermetroTU @CoEvictionDef
CCG members, including @CoEvictionDef, brought this proposal to then-candidate Johnston. We applaud the Mayor and City Council for making this $29.1 million investment in Denver families!

And we encourage @DenverPerfect10 to stay the course!
Thanks, Denver City Councilor @DenverPerfect10 for voting to support rental assistance earlier this month.
There's another critical vote on rental assistance today. With the continued support of Councilmember Hinds, Denver can address its eviction crisis & #KeepColoradansHoused!

Thank you to @COCommonGood for hosting the 2nd annual Labor Seder. We are so appreciative that Hamouda spoke on behalf of our own struggle to liberate drivers from the bondages of oppressive algorothims. It was great to see so many Labor friends and champions attend ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏼

Moving from degradation to liberation is the theme of the Colorado Labor Seder. This year, in addition to honoring the commitment to protect the vulnerable, we celebrate two great leaders who prioritize this work, @daveyseligman and @AmieBacaOehlert.
