Overall, I'm quite disappointed with the direction they took here.
The last major balancing improved weapon variety. This update nerfed all the wrong guns and took a lot of variety away.

The 2026 Call of Duty: Warzone Esports program has seen the launch of the COD: Warzone Resurgence Series, and we’re excited by the competition that’s taken place in the first half of this new circuit.
But COD:WRS is only one part of our esports landscape, and we’d like to share some news on the World Series of Warzone. To focus on delivering the best inaugural COD:WRS season possible, WSOW will begin after the COD:WRS season concludes, and kick off in early 2027. Full qualification details will be shared in the coming months.
In the meantime, tune in to the rest of the COD:WRS season, including the Atlanta LAN next week where we’re improving the experience with an official Open Broadcast on Saturday, and an enhanced in-person spectator area. Our casters will also be there to bring you all of the action as we qualify another five teams for the COD:WRS Championship!

VST only has mobility better than the Razor.
Everything else that matters like the TTK (no matter the body location) and the recoil is still on Razor’s side. Also not forgetting about the still significant kick of the VST and the muzzle smoke (no matter the loadout)
VST still needs to be built with recoil attachments stacked, whereas razor can be built with more mobility attachments to close this gap. That’s why everyone and their mother is still using the Razor.
Don’t believe sensationalism of accounts reacting to patch notes emotionally or just wanting to get more clicks/impressions (a new meta is better for this).
The close range meta is super packed, probably the most it has ever been, and stats can be interpreted differently but putting the razor 4th is a crazy move
