Digital trust is about more than putting a signature on a screen.
A properly applied digital signature can help verify who signed, whether the information has been changed after signing, and whether the signature can be validated using a trusted certificate.
These protections support identity, document integrity and accountability, but users should still follow safe online practices.

Did you know that there is a national fund working every day to make sure every Namibian has access to the internet, no matter where they live?
The Universal Service Fund (USF) brings mobile voice and broadband data services to communities that the market would not reach on its own, including the provision of public Wi-Fi to schools and clinics in these communities. Phase 1 connected 11 schools and four clinics throughout nine communities, across five regions. Over the next four weeks, we will show you where, what it means and what comes next.
This month, we are telling the USF story. Follow along.

Captain Cyber's Week 3 tip: your device is one of your most valuable and most vulnerable possessions.
Your phone stores your messages, photos, contacts, banking apps, and personal information. If it is compromised, so is everything on it.
Here is how to protect it:
- Keep your operating system and all apps updated. Updates patch security vulnerabilities that cybercriminals exploit.
- Only download apps from official stores such as the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Avoid using public Wi-Fi for banking, shopping, or any transaction that involves personal information.
- Lock your device with a strong PIN, password, or biometric security.
- Back up your data regularly so you do not lose everything if your device is lost, stolen, or compromised.
