After monitoring it closely, I’ve decided to pause active development. This was not an easy decision. CS2 Prices was built with a lot of care, and I know some people genuinely used it, tested it, reported issues, and wanted to see it grow. But the project became too expensive and too unstable to maintain at the quality level I wanted. I do not want to keep forcing something that I cannot properly support long term. 🛠️ I’ve been quiet about CS2 Prices recently because I had to think carefully about the future of the project. Running the app across multiple services was becoming too expensive to justify long term, so I spent the last few days simplifying the infrastructure instead of adding new features. CS2 Prices has now been migrated to a cleaner setup, replacing the previous application stack while keeping the app working the same way for users. No user action is needed. Existing cloud saves, prices, cached item images, public portfolios, invite access, and viewer data were preserved. ⚙️ Patch Note — v0.18.10 This update focuses on small but important fixes for portfolio accuracy and Profit Mode input handling. • Fixed an issue where changing an item’s quantity could reset its Fluctuation % to 0.00% • Quantity changes now only affect total value, not price movement history • Improved Profit Mode buy-in parsing for comma-based decimal inputs • USD values are now accepted correctly • Improved exchange-rate handling for internally converted entry values • General stability improvements for portfolio calculations and Profit Mode This issue was reported by Jason-San on Discord. ⚙️ Patch Note — v0.18.9 This update improves the mobile viewer connection flow and adds a new temporary sorting system across portfolio tables. The goal was to make the app more reliable in real-world use while also making it easier to scan and compare item performance inside each tab. • Fixed the mobile viewer pairing flow • Viewer QR linking now works correctly again for fresh scans and existing app sessions • Improved overall viewer stability after reconnecting from mobile • Added sortable table headers for Item, Quantity, Price, Fluctuation, and Total • Sorting is temporary and does not overwrite the user’s saved manual row order • Clicking a header cycles through both sort directions before returning to the original order • General UI polish and stability improvements ⚡ Now live at CS2Prices.app By collectors.
