If someone asks, "UPSC nahi hua toh kya karoge?", never say:
"Something will work out."
"I'll think about it later."
"I haven't thought that far."
Instead say:
1. Ask me what I'm building next. That's a conversation I'd actually like to have.
2. I can read dense material, find the point and write it clearly. I'd like to put that to use outside an answer sheet.
3. My next move doesn't have to wait for the next notification.
4. I'm curious about how policy gets made, not only how it gets asked in an exam.
5. My CV needs work. My entire life doesn't need an apology.
6. I've spent years understanding how the country works. Now I want to find work where that understanding matters.
7. I'd rather have an awkward first day at work than another year of wondering whether I could do it.
8. I'm willing to be a beginner in a room where I can grow.
9. I'm exploring research, policy, content and consulting to see where I can contribute.
10. I'm reading job descriptions now, not just saving them for "after the exam".
11. I don't need a job title that impresses my relatives. I need work that gives me a reason to look forward to Monday.
12. Starting small isn't starting over.
13. I'm learning to introduce myself without beginning and ending with the word "aspirant".
14. I can take a sensible first job and still keep a big goal.
15. I want to use what these years taught me, instead of spending the next few years defending them.
