DO YOU KNOW THIS CHILD? A young boy was found cycling along the middle of the highway near Witeithie. He appears to have special needs and is unable to communicate clearly, making it difficult to establish his identity or where he comes from. He and his bicycle are currently at Witeithie Police Station. If you know him you can notify his parents/guardians to pick him up at Witeithie Police Station.

Fraudster arrested after defrauding businessman of Sh260 million in Nairobi A man who has been posing as an MP aspirant for Buuri Constituency in Meru County faces Sh260 million fraud charges following a probe by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). This was after the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) approved the fraud charges against the suspect identified as Eliud Gilisho alias Eliud Limuyu. Detectives said the fraud involved manipulation of the victim. Limuyu applied a divide and rule tactic to divide the victim’s partners as he defrauded him over claims of being able to among others invent a weapon detector. Tony Ketter who is the victim is a businessman in ICT sector who also operates from South Africa and Angola. He told the police the suspect had approached him through his former female employee Samali Kirika, who is a Ugandan and believed to be a willing co-conspirator in the scheme, and lied to him he was about to invent a weapon detector and all he wanted was small funding for its development before it could be rolled out. What followed was a chain of deception and conning where the suspect managed to access the victim’s trust as a way of getting more money from him. Limuyu impersonated several personalities, investigators say. He fabricated elaborate digital personas, masquerading as high-net-worth investors from the US and France to legitimize the phantom technology. They communicated with an interest of investing in the technology, which turned out to be a scheme to defraud Ketter. They could often send emails to the victim while talking about huge amounts of investments into the said technology. He claimed the Americans wanted to kill the victim and steal his technology. Operating under the fabricated threat of assassination, Ketter was forced into isolation, allowing Limuyu to exert total control over his finances and movements. The victim told police the man had conned him up to Sh260 million. The victim told police he had to abandon his business in South Africa and came back to Kenya where the suspect and his accomplices were now conspiring with other Kenyans to target his family vast land in Nandi County with the intention of defrauding him. The victim fought off speculators who targeted his land in the area. “He is dropping names of prominent personalities but we hope for justice,” he said. He later recorded a statement with DCI Serious Crimes Unit who investigated and found the suspect culpable for the accusations. Ketter added the suspect had even been threatening him with more dire consequences if he did not drop the charges. The suspect has declared interest in the Buuri constituency seat in the coming polls. He was arrested pending arraignment. Police investigations have revealed he has a forged Israel passport with several others visas including that of the USA. The DCI has since sought clarification from the two countries Embassies. It has also emerged that his dates of birth in the identification documents are different from those in the passport.

There was a season when Manchester United was close to signing Harry Kane. Before he left for Bayern Munich. Fans and the authority said that he was old. And opted for Broke Lesner.

Get this 3 year old into La Masia, Barcelona's academy. I have seen enough of him to know that he is the next Lamine Yamal, and a future Ballon D'Or winner.

Dear @LindaMwananchi_ To win this coming election, we MUST run a campaign like nothing has been run before in Kenya. We cannot only rely on the old methods and hope to beat the veterans who have been doing those things for years! First of all, the movement must realize where its greatest strength lies. LMM’s greatest strength comes from being owned by the young people. The hopeful, energetic, enthusiastic young people who are full of ideas. Linda Mwananchi MUST find an effective way to tap into this energy and brilliance. My suggestion is to have a robust volunteer program which invites volunteers to the campaign, vets them, evaluates their abilities and assigns them roles in the campaign purely on a VOLUNTARY basis. The only thing such volunteers would need is recognition and assurance that the movement shall NEVER betray its core ideals. This program if well run, has the potential to provide the largest group of boots on the ground in the entire nation. We have professionals such as medics, lawyers, teachers and others who are willing to volunteer. We also have creatives such as musicians, influencers and tiktokers who have already volunteered their services and are doing good work. They just need to be organized, focused and integrated into the formal structures of the movement. Next, fundraising MUST not just be through the traditional pay bill means. Please let us get creative! Let us have merchandise on sale on the website where people can buy not only for themselves but also for others. Let us have an option for people to donate in kind. You may have someone who owns a car and wants to donate it, let them. Let there be a register of donations and personal acknowledgment to each donor. After that, the manifesto must include all Kenyans, not just a few experts sitting and deciding what to do. Kenyans know the problems they face and they also know the solutions. Engage them more in conversations. Rallies are good but let us have many townhalls. In fact, a town hall can even be virtual. The way we had twitter spaces and TikTok live to discuss Finance Bill and other oppressive laws in 2024. Let us have at least two of these every week with a principal of Linda Mwananchi and preferably H.E Sifuna. These are very low cost but very high impact activities. During those townhalls, we listen and take note of what Kenyans want. These engagements will help the movement understand what to prioritize and to visualize how the first 100 days will look like. All these activities ant structures should culminate in having soldiers all around the 55,000 polling stations. Willing believers who want to change our country for the better. With at least 20 per polling station, our message will reach every nook and cranny on of Kenya. I am willing to be volunteer number 1 to give many more ideas that I have. @edwinsifuna @abbiezuena @genz___baddie @FredahOndu61763 @paulinenjoroge @gwamaee

TO MY FELLOW ATHLETES : THERE WERE CHAMPIONS BEFORE US . Over the recent past years we have had a serious spike in cases of doping among our fellow athletes be it seniors / elite and juniors . This is has cause serious injury to the sport and the image of our great country Kenya We all had ambitions and dreams when young and very green on what to do reach where our role models had reached, myself I started loving athletics deeply in 2004 when I watched the Athens Olympics, I am sure we all remember the 1-2-3 sweep in the steeple chase lead my Babayao Ezekiel Kemboi, Brimin Kipruto and Paul kipsiele Koech, it was the sweetest thing to watch and feel. I am sure we loved it and you were challenged to think and dream that in future you wanted to raise the Kenyan flag high in a major event, I too I was challenged Our country was respected, applauded and our athletes were admired all over the globe But things have changed over the last few years, our image is tainted and the respect we had is diminishing each day over unending and ever rising cases of doping but our athletes, infact on the socials we are being labelled as ‘cheats’😭 Every win by any Kenyan athlete is ‘tagged’ you never know maybe it’s another cheat wining 😭 It is sad 😢 it’s embarrassing . Our champions who came before us were cheered, they didn’t cheat, the founders kip keino is still remembered and respected world all over together with his group and the champions who came later after him and many more until recently, but why? I want to remind you also that before you get to the start line, runway or that ring, remember one thing WE ARE KENYANS, we represent a country that its image in athletics before us was a country respected, loved, ‘feared ‘ in good faith before of its athletes prowess, please let us not forget this and we MUST take our image back to where it was, train well and smart, compete clean and win clean, we have very young ones who are looking after us as role models, let us not destroy them, let us show them the right way: THE CLEAN SPORT, Rules and regulations that govern this sport were not brought to punish any athlete but to protect the clean athletes Keep in mind that after us exit many more champions are coming up, Do you want them to be disrespected and called cheats ? On my side NO! Remember the society were we come from, our families, friends and anybody else you connect because of your talent, they put much respect, believe and trust in us Let’s be considerate to them also, they feel let down and cheated to supporting us When you get banned they are hurt, they carry that burden too, they will look back and say this guy we respected and supported was just a fake person cheated his or her life up, it is painful I have seen close friends and colleagues banned, it is equally very tough to accept but that is life I have come to know about this sport, people who we looked up to and supported in their prime times and tough times just only to get Sanctioned and banned, you get shocked, lose truest and everything good you can think of. It has become tough lately , but I think we can redeem our image, we can do what the legends did:STAY TRUE TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE SPORT :RUN CLEAN WIN CLEAN Athletics Integrity Unit@Anti-Doping Agency of KENYA OfficialAthleticsKenya AKMinistry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and SportsNOCK- Olympics KenyaAyumba Peter NjorogeAyodiMuigai KiguruCelestine Karoney Citizen TV KenyaNation

Professor, calling Sifuna a man who has achieved nothing is like calling a fisherman jobless while eating his fish. Professor, kindly reboot your memory. 😂 😂 Aside from Sifuna’s Senate Sterling performance, he wrote the NODCO report that indirectly employed you to manage compensation funds. Sifuna has shown where he stands. The problem is that nobody knows where you stand because every time money changes direction, you also change direction. You told us you'd never work under Ruto. We believed you. Unfortunately, your stomach held a different press conference. 🤣 Some people, like Sifuna, follow principles. Others like you follow payrolls @edwinsifuna @LindaMwananchi_
