Refactoring an app from Express to @fastifyjs with @typescript was an absolute blast. Hindsight is 20/20 and all, but Fastify (and TypeScript) seems to fix all of the problems I've had with Express in the past. JSON Schema, async decorators, et al, this is just perfect.

Flying through tasks, knocking it out of the park, then hitting a Vite build issue and... mired.

It's healthy to refactor code for an hour or two only to revert it all and make a much smaller change. Feel good when this happens!
Halfway through Node.js Design Patterns by @PacktPub and thoroughly appreciating the details & expertise. It’s filling in the gaps for me. E.g. Streams - newfound appreciation and can’t wait to find an opportunity to use them proactively instead of just consuming when I have to.
Really digging #vuejs composition API + Apollo composable. Refactoring existing codebase is going faster than anticipated, and code is shrinking and just generally improving.
I've generally ignored SQLite, but may use it for a micro-site with transient data after reading stackoverflow.com/questions/… and the really interesting intro over at sqlite.org/index.html.

"...stable, cross-platform, backwards compatible... SQLite database files are commonly used as containers to transfer rich content between systems and as a long-term archival format for data" Never thought about the use cases of transferring data or archiving.
I still think this rings true: “Consider whether static rendering or server rendering can get you 90% of the way there. It's perfectly okay to mostly ship HTML with minimal JS to get an experience interactive.” developers.google.com/web/up…

"This is too important to write down, put it in project mgr at the top. Actually, it's more important than that – let's put it in a sticky... ah, 5 sticky notes and they're all crammed with A1's, let's put this in a Reminder... ah, a few are past due... let's just do this now."
I know judiciary.house.gov/uploaded… has been shared a million times today, but it's very accurate and worth a read. TL:DR; "It's very weird to be in love with and scared of the same thing: Apple"
Building @awscloud infrastructure via Cloudformation, paired with @gitlab CI build/test/deploy across accounts is truly beautiful, no matter how much hair you tear out getting it all setup. S3, IAM, lambdas, CDN... 🙏#infrastructureascode
In the middle of a code sprint with @_Ronini migrating an #AngularJS app from Gulp to @parceljs , and ultimately to Vue. Lots of prep went into this & it's turning out surprisingly painless!

What helped: componentize everything (SFCs), glob routes/filters/etc in Parcel (organized code, no repetition of registering these with AJS), ensure controllers are as vanilla as possible. We can even use Vue components in AJS routes and migrate piece by piece!
