Andrew Bechard skated for the Cardinals during the 2019-20 and 2021-22 seasons. Bechard played for the 4th Ward Cardinals in 2016 and 2017.
Keller Kowalowski played goalie for the Cardinals from 2016 through 2019. Kowalowski played for the Lyon Mountain Miners (2014, 2017-22). In 2021, Kowalowski batted .483 with three doubles, a homer and 13 RBI for the Miners.
Pictured here in the 2011 CVBL Finals, Tory Bouyea (Cardinals) and Jerry Kowalowski (Lyon Mountain Miners) were standout players for a number of seasons.

In 2011, Bouyea was the Most Valuable Player of the regular season after he batted .448 (26/58) with 8 doubles, 2 homers and 21 RBI for the 14-4 Cardinals. Then, Bouyea was named the Most Valuable Player of the playoffs.

The 2000 Tupper Lake Timberjaxx went 12-8 during the regular season to finish in second place in the Southern Division. In the quarterfinals, they were defeated by the Plattsburgh Cardinals 2 games to 1.

Did you know that Steve Criss holds the record for most home runs in a CVBL single season?
When Criss slammed 13 homers for the 1996 Plattsburgh Cardinals he topped Glenn Petrashune's 12 for the Redford River Rats during 1987.

The 2000 CR Tunes Mudhens went 17-3 to finish first in the Southern Division.
The Mudhens beat Peru Cellular-One Reds in the quarterfinals, the Plattsburgh Cardinals, 2-1, in the semifinals, and swept the Lyon Mountain Miners in the championship.

Craig Burdo was the regular-season Most Valuable Player, while Mike Bordeau was the playoff Most Valuable Player and David Davidson the playoff Most Valuable Pitcher.
Paul LaRock, pictured here pitching for St. Lawrence University, played four seasons in the CVBL.
LaRock pitched for McGee's Mudhens (1984-85) and Midas Mudhens (1987-88) recording an 8-6 record with 4 saves during the regular season.
Jeff Greene played for the Burlington Expos during the 1979 season.
A standout at Essex (Vt.) High School, Greene spent a post-grad season at Worcester Academy before attending the University of Vermont.
Greene was selected by the Dodgers in the 19th round of the 1981 draft.
The 2020 Meron's Expos went 8-3 in the regular season and defeated the Adirondack Lightning 2 games to 0 in the quarterfinals before losing the Lyon Mountain Miners in the CVBL semifinals.
