Happy belated Super Bill
Happy birthday to former Westmoore, Oklahoma State and NFL tight end Billy Bajema, born on this day in 1982 in Oklahoma City.
Bajema played football, basketball and baseball at Westmoore. He was the Jaguars' quarterback and as a senior, passed for 845 yards and seven touchdowns and added 453 yards and six touchdowns rushing. He also excelled on defense, where he had 187 career tackles and was named honorable mention All-State by both the Tulsa World and The Oklahoman.
He chose Oklahoma State and as a true freshman, when OSU was needing depth at the position, he switched to tight end, earning second-team All-Big 12 honors in 2003 and first-team honors in 2004.
He was also a four-time Academic All-Big 12 selection and an ESPN Academic All-American as a senior.
The San Francisco 49ers selected Bajema in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft and played his way into the starting lineup for 15 games. He later signed with the St. Louis Rams and Baltimore Ravens, finishing his NFL career with 40 catches, 416 yards and two touchdowns.
After retiring, Bajema returned to Oklahoma and was an offensive line coach for former teammate Rashaun Woods at John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City.
Happy birthday Billy! #tdfn #okpreps @whsjagathletics @westmoorejagsfb @CowboyFB
A year ago today, OU walked out of Neyland with a win to kick off an undefeated November. They did this with, on paper, a worse offensive unit.
This year, they upgraded at TE and WR and experience at other positions came back.
What the heck happened

That’s the classic “I’m in good position to block, but my QB leaves the pocket and I can’t see him” hold from Fasusi.
