🚨 IMPORTANT BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
@veilboundgg gave me $1,000 worth of $VEIL.
So naturally I spent 14 minutes trying to figure out what the fuck a $1,000 post is supposed to look like.
I could talk about the game.
I could explain the economy.
I could tell you why I like $VEIL.
But no.
LOOK AT MY CHARACTER.
SHE HAS WINGS.
I AM NOW A SERIOUS BUSINESSWOMAN. 😂

Not putting me on a list? Fine.
Putting me NEXT TO @cagyjan1 ? That's just plain disrespectful 😭
I'm not even talking to you guys anymore. It's over.
Rewards for players and rewards for content creators are TWO different things.
Players need sustainable economies that reward their time, effort and progression.
Creators need proper incentives to create content, bring attention and help games grow.
One doesn't replace the other.
You can have the best tokenomics in the world. If nobody knows your game exists, good luck growing it.
You can pay creators to promote your game. If the game and its economy can't sustain themselves, all that attention goes to waste.
You need BOTH.
One helps build a game worth playing.
The other helps people discover it.
Apparently, Web3 gaming still struggles with this concept.
I didn't make the rules. 🤷♀️

Projects with reward system for players are typically hype-trains followed by a quick rug-pull. Only long-term sustainable economies are functional, and if you mess up the tokenomics the community will extract all the wealth as quickly as possible and then it's shut down.
I've watched so many people create content for Web3 gaming.
Some brilliant. Some average. Some absolutely cooked. 😂
But where are the actual creator reward systems?
Where are the projects rewarding people for the time, effort and value they bring?
All I see is paid shilling, recycled hype and budgets going towards whoever can make a project look good for a few days.
Web3 gaming doesn't reward content creation. It rewards promotion.
And those are two very different things.
One builds an industry. The other just sells the illusion that one exists.
If @SkyGaming is hands down the best creator in Web3 gaming, is he being paid what that value deserves?
Because that's exactly the problem.
You might be selective about who you work with. But the industry? It wants top-tier content, loyal audiences, reach, credibility and months of commitment for scraps, exposure or empty promises.
Web3 gaming wants professional creators but doesn't want to pay professional rates.
It wants the value we bring, just not the invoice that comes with it.
An industry that can throw money at tokens, influencers and hype campaigns, but expects creators to work for free, doesn't have a creator economy. It has a creator exploitation problem.
Replying to @CaffeinaWeb3
We are selective who we work with. At the same time @SkyGaming hands down the best creator in web3 gaming... and all around just a good human being who wants to lift up web3 gaming. Very very rare....
Ok, I've read enough stupid things for one day. 😂
Thanks X for the abundance of nonsense you somehow manage to provide.
Good night.
I'll try a book now. 🤣
I'd be salty too if I were him. 😂
Solana has been eating Ethereum's lunch in the memecoin casino.
But I highly doubt he actually said this.
Vitalik ain't stupid.
This would be a pretty stupid thing to say.
BREAKING: Vitalik states that @Pumpfun has killed memecoins by turning new retail investors entering the crypto space into degenerate gamblers and with no real-world use, the industry will die fast.
He also stated that @pumpfun has been a net negative to crypto since it was released in 2024 by draining the $crypto ecosystem and turning retail into gamblers not investors.
He also said the platform is setup like a slot machine you keep clicking until your fully drained - pump ultimately wins but retail loses.
I forgot how stupid people can be on this app. 😂
Your life sucks?
Immigration.
Your WiFi is slow?
Immigration.
Your toast burns?
Immigration.
Bro discovered a universal scapegoat. 🤣
Wanna know why people are struggling to find a job?
Immigration.
Wanna know why housing is so expensive?
Immigration.
Wanna know why it takes weeks to see a doctor?
Immigration.
Wanna know why public services are under pressure?
Immigration.
The U.S. had an estimated 14 million unauthorized immigrants living here in 2023, and the number likely changed after that.
You can argue about the causes all day.
But pretending immigration has ZERO effect on jobs, housing, healthcare and public resources doesn’t make sense either.
The real question is:
How many people can the country realistically absorb while still keeping up with the people already here?
It's hilarious to me when projects think creators need them in order to create content.
As a matter of fact, I don't even need to create content. 🤣
But your project?
You probably need creators. 🤣
And this is exactly why I don't create anymore.
I've seen the lack of respect for creators firsthand, and honestly?
I'd rather sleep. 😂
At least sleep is productive.
If a project wants my time, content, audience and reputation, I expect to be treated like a partner, not a free marketing tool.
Creators aren't desperate for projects.
Projects should be competing for creators worth having.
Gaming projects need to value Creators more.
I've been working with a lot of projects lately & been taking a lot of calls.
What I've noticed most is a lack of respect for creators.
I ain't sure about you guys, but if a project doesn't show me appreciation for my work or speaks to me properly, I will walk away.
I don't care about the amount of money left on the table, if our energies don't match I'm out.
This past year I've had way too many calls missed by founders, promises broken & all of that good stuff to be sitting here working my ass off just to be given 3 or 4 word answers.
Where do you guys stand, how much are you willing to put up with before you say enough is enough?
Imagine putting $100K+ into a game and having absolutely zero say in anything.
Yep, some players actually do that.
Because number go up. 😂
Then number go down and you just sit there watching your money disappear.
At that point, what exactly did you get from Web3?
Now this is a conversation worth having.
The things that make Web3 attractive to players can be the same things that make studios reluctant to actually build it properly.
You can’t have meaningful player ownership while still wanting total control over the ecosystem.
That contradiction is exactly what we should be talking about.
Replying to @CaffeinaWeb3
Funny because I was out of space in previous post but was going to say exactly that: what makes web 3 attractive plays AGAINST the studio that is trying to implement it
This resonates with @Don_Drogo thesis on web 3 gaming: to be successful you need decentralized decision making
I don’t even mean to be rude, but honestly, some people in this space seem completely brain-dead. 😂
I make an actual point and instead of anyone addressing what I said, the response is “you’re farming engagement.”
That’s your argument? Seriously? 😂
I’ve spent 5+ years playing and supporting Web3 games for free. You really think a female gamer in this tiny-ass niche needs to farm engagement by talking about Web3 gaming? There are a million better things I could do for attention if that was actually my goal.
If you disagree, debate the actual point. Accusing me of farming engagement because you can’t answer it is honestly hilarious.
And this is exactly why I keep saying people need to get serious about this space.
“I just want to have fun.” “I just want to play.” “I just want it to be cool.”
Okay, but then what?
We keep going around in circles talking about fantasies without actually addressing what makes a Web3 game sustainable, what creates real value, or what brings players here and keeps them here.
You can have fun AND take the space seriously. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. 😂
Okay Web3 gamers, enough bullshit for a second. 😂
What are you actually here for?
“I play for fun.”
Cool.
You can do that in Web2.
So what’s the reason you specifically choose Web3 games?
What does the blockchain actually give you that you couldn’t get from a normal game?
Be honest. 👀
Genuine question for OTG players 👀
Why do you actually play @playoffthegrid?
For the gameplay?
For the economy / earning potential?
Both?
Something else?
Be honest - genuinely curious what keeps you playing.
What exactly is Web3 gaming protecting for the player?
Their time?
Their effort?
Their achievements?
Because NFTs, tradable assets, tokens and speculation don’t protect any of that.
They just turn the game into another market where some people win and plenty lose.
So after all this talk about “ownership”...
What did the player actually gain?
Honestly 😂 if I post something publicly, quote it, disagree with it, whatever.
I wrote it. I stand by it.
Why would I get mad because someone gave my post more visibility? 😭
If anything, thanks for the free promo.
So don’t get mad when I quote yours. It ain’t personal.
You wrote it. I’m just responding to it. 😂
