Did you know? A Judicial Assistant is the judge's right hand in the courtroom, keeping proceedings running efficiently and professionally.
Every day, they manage the flow of courtroom activities, control the court calendar and schedule hearings within legal time limits, and maintain the official record of the court. They also administer oaths, assist in impaneling juries, safeguard the inventory of exhibits, and serve as the liaison between judicial officers, attorneys, court staff, and the public. The Court has a special academy just to train them, and recently the 65th class graduated from the program!
Congratulations to Judicial Assistant Trainee Class 65! These graduates are stepping into an essential role in the courtroom to deliver justice. Their success reflects our commitment to investing in the workforce and our pride in preparing the next generation of Judicial Assistants. 👏
