This one's spectacular. In the 1960s, London's Mews were still being used to keep horses. This clip spoils us with a lovely glimpse of the people, pubs, and lifestyle among the cobbled backstreets that have since become expensive housing. They certainly had more personality then than nowadays. @Britains___Pubs

My new neighbourhood in Newham: 2012: Beautiful community pub 2014: Pub closes and is boarded up 2024: "Desi bridal shops", "Simran clothes" and "Kundan jewellery" As East End culture has declined in London, a different culture has replaced it.
