i agree with not romanticising any of that because it is disgusting and it shouldn't be seen as this cute thing, but i will say that sometimes victims do romanticise their own experiences to cope, and i understand that completely as a victim myself. calamaxity.straw.page

i can't judge how a victim decides to deal with their trauma, and i don't think anybody should. however, i do firmly believe that if you are going to romanticise it because it makes you feel better, you should likely do it in private instead, because exposing this information

publicly can be even more damaging to you. but regardless, that's what i personally believe. you're free to disagree. i will never attack another victim for how they cope, but i will put my own boundaries in place as a victim as well.
