Yesterday, despite experiencing serious network challenges, I still managed to host the Adhkār aṣ-Ṣabāḥ Space. Unfortunately, I couldn't hear a single word throughout the session, despite being the host.
It was Dr. Sambo (@RealSamboFatiu) who graciously stepped in and took the reins. Ustadh @Oniwe_luqman's phone has been faulty for over two months, while @hant_qudeee is currently under the weather.
Sadly, between last night and this morning, Dr. Sambo's home was burgled, and he lost his phone and other valuable belongings to the thieves. May Allah compensate him with far better things, replenish his losses abundantly and continue to protect him and his family. AlhamduliLlāh that he and his wife are safe.
To be robbed in these times is wahala times two! May Allah ease his affairs, grant him strength and provide for him in abundance. May He protect us all from evil, hardship and unexpected calamities.

This year, we have decided to release all the results for maximum transparency, and as seen from the score sheet, it was an extremely tight and intense contest among our Huffāz, showing the level of dedication and effort put in by everyone.
This is more than a competition.. but a journey with the Book of Allah. So what matters most is sincerity and consistency, remaining steadfast and never detaching from the Qur’an.
Due to the very close scores and ties in the Kāmil category, we have decided to also recognize the 4th position, as the differences were minimal and reflective of how competitive this year has been.
Our sincere appreciation goes to our judges and anchors of the program @CaliphRidwan @Aboo_Mujahid @abdullahtosin72 for handling their responsibilities with excellence and sincerity. May Allah reward you all abundantly, for indeed, Allah is the Best of Judges.

This means so much, man. Do you understand the strength of conviction and consistency of identity it takes to be unapologetically Muslim in a country where Islamophobia remains a reality, while contesting for the US Senate?
Granted, Michigan has a significant Muslim population, but Muslims are still a minority there.
There is a lesson here for Muslims. You do not have to dilute your identity, conceal your faith or compromise your convictions to pursue opportunities, excel or work alongside non-Muslims. You can engage the world on its own terms without surrendering who you are or what you believe.
