Very nice to see this doing the rounds again. When I was a little kid I used to go to Manchester and come back with the accent. Harry and Paul thought this was very funny so wrote the sketch. The timing was perfect. 😎

#BabyReindeer is a masterpiece. How Richard Gadd confronts his trauma, processes it and puts it out into the world with such unflinching honesty is nothing short of gamechanging. And to then act as the lead as well, revisiting it firsthand? Loved it dearly

Just watched #BabyReindeer in one sitting. Seriously, watch it immediately. Incredible storytelling and the most brutal exploration of stalking and the fallout from sexual assault. Stunning.

So, it turns out that #BabyReindeer on #Netflix was a very good series
No spoilers.
Nuanced, funny, disturbing & compelling. Sensitive handling of complex subjects. Brilliant acting from ALL members of the cast but #RichardGadd & #JessicaGunning? Two beasts. Give #BAFTAS or noms

#Breathtaking premieres tonight 9.00 pm @ITV, from the memoir by @doctor_oxford. As a former junior hospital doctor, I couldn’t be prouder of cowriting this 3-part drama paying tribute to the untold sacrifices of #NHS staff. All episodes available now @ITVX.

I remember walking into a job, at 21 without knowing I was walking into a global pandemic. holding patients hands as they passed, seeing my colleagues die while the government were laughing at us because they couldn’t be ARSED to provide for us adequately.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who braved watching #BREATHTAKING, who commented, who shared their own experiences, who chose not to look away.
Here are my reflections on the astonishing public response to the series - available on @ITVX now 💙 theguardian.com/commentisfre…

For the record, re #Breathtaking and those who think it's 'exaggerated', I'll relate that in the period I was in Intensive Care (overlapping directly with the time-frame of episodes 1 and 2 - end of March, April, May 2020), 42% of the patients in my Intensive Care ward died.

(2/2) It was a horrific, unexpected arrest in an awkward place.
F1s do not just write discharge summaries. They are not apprentices. They are highly qualified, intelligent individuals. I am worth more than £15 an hour. I will strike until I am paid fairly.

Monday I was the only F1 covering all medical wards at work. There was a cardiac arrest after my shift ended which I attended. Tuesday, I finished my shift performing CPR on a gentleman who deteriorated unexpectedly. I was the one who decided to escalate. (1/2)

Layton’s drive & dignity, Bobby being such an outward looker at just 20, Johannes’ kind & gentle footprint on Annabel’s life, Ellie’s unfaltering dance prowess… and Vito talking utter cobblers to Claudia, queen of cobblers talk 😍 Thank you #Strictly what a series! 🪩
