Hwy 9 near Boulder Creek will close overnight Oct 26–27 for bridge work:
• Oct 26: 8 pm–6 am at San Lorenzo River Bridge
• Oct 27: 7 pm–6 am at Kings Creek Bridge
Detour via Hwy 17. One‑way traffic control returns the next mornings as bridge replacements continue.
Travelers on US 101 near Gaviota will encounter CHP led intermittent closures with delays of up to 15 minutes. Crews are conducting rock scaling operations to dislodge rocks from the slope above the highway until 3 pm on Thursday 10/22, and again Friday 10/23, from 9 am to 3 pm.
There will be a full daytime closure near the Torre Canyon Bridge on Oct. 29. Hwy 1 will be closed from 8 am–12 pm and 1 pm–5 pm between PM 39 and 40. The road will reopen from 12 pm–1 pm. Crews will install wire mesh netting on fire‑damaged slopes to prep for winter. #elninoprep

🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT 🚨 Southbound US-101 near Alisos Canyon Rd: The #2 lane will be closed until approximately noon while crews clear a trailer fire. The semi driver safely disconnected from the burning trailer and was uninjured. The trailer was carrying 35,000 lbs. of produce.
