Okay so I looked at the Frankfurt draws and these are somehow “worse” than Montpellier. Some notes: no Lebruns or LSD. Anyway: Cotton has to play against 1st seed if they both win their first match, Jang and Franz could rematch under the same condition, probably won’t happen tho,
US representative gets a US smash run back against Togami and theoretically into Truls. Liang vs Hugo, those two have a rich history. WCQ’s return starts against Anders, who beat him at the US smash. Omar might finally beat someone now that he’s not fighting actual demons.
WTT Montpellier Ramblings
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, what a tournament. It is crazy to see every match today get drawn to a decider. Crowd was great too. Think it’s a bit dumb to have Frankfurt right after. Those who competed get 1.5-2.5 days of “rest”
Also remember someone saying you can’t comeback against someone who’s good at them, foreshadowing eh). The semifinal with Hugo and now this match with Franz. What an event man. At least from a match perspective. I do not need to be watching through someone’s phone.
