Well yeah, Caliendo allowed 5 pressures in one afternoon (Kingsley has 5 all season) and totally got blown by last play of the game.
As for Butker, that’s just coaching malpractice.

Chiefs should’ve punted it there. Butker cannot make anything 50+ (shown that to you) and you would give Broncos prime real estate.

Denver was definitely expecting a screen pass to Johnson (only used in pass game so far) and he smartly leaked upfield and all Mahomes had to do was float it over.
The B gap release made it all work. If he kept leaking outside it’s likely stopped.
Both Nohl Williams and CRW keep impressing me week after week. Williams I’m not worried about, and if CRW can be consistent with his play, Chiefs are in real good hands.
Chiefs got too sentimental with the resigning of Sneed. They saw the writing on the wall back in 2024, not sure why they even remotely thought he’d be worth bringing back.

The #Chiefs add Justin Tucker, the 7-time Pro Bowler, to their practice squad, the first time he's signed since serving a 10-game suspension for violating the league's Personal Conduct Policy.
He's insurance for Harrison Butker, who has missed 15 total kicks since the start of the 2025 season.
In the Chiefs case, Downs isn't bringing much size to this receiving room, nor will he fill the role left by Thornton.
Good against man-coverage and natural fit for the short-to-intermediate passing, but would just be a more refined Xavier Worthy.
Don’t need 2 small frame WRs.
Final Thoughts:
- Sneed (to no surprise) is a major liability that teams have figured out. Time to move to CRW.
- This is the 1st time Mahomes has looked like last year’s version. Can’t rely on that type of play.
- Chiefs defense could not get off the field on 3rd down.
Is Butker hurt? He was short on his first attempt tonight, or does he have the yips?
Either way, not good for KC, especially when he’s left 6 points off the board tonight.
Mahomes taking his worst beating tonight. We knew it could get ugly with how good this Seahawks’ d-line is.
Love the competitiveness, but the Bye Week has passed. You have to protect yourself more for the long stretch ahead.
