International Rugby League is in a better place than ever! I just cannot imagine when I was age 17 back in '94 watching the last ever true Kangaroos Tour before Superleague tore the game apart, that I'd be gripped by Tonga v Samoa thinking "this is better than Origin"

I have nothing but huge admiration for how South Africa played their cricket this series. Attacking. Hunting. Fighting. They exposed these Australians as they did in the Test Championship. Wish we faced this kind of reality check more often.

RL and more specifically the @NRL has a way of keeping itself in the news. It’s a constant cycle. Some good, some bad and plenty of unsubstantiated rubbish. I feel it’s going to be a looooong off season of mostly rubbish.
