Hazmat incident at the community pool at Harpers Mill today. Chesterfield Fire Believe it was an issue involving pool chemical, unsure which, which led to respiratory issues for those here.

Fire department says 4 juveniles, 1 adult taken to hospital by EMS. 11 taken by their parents. 25-30 examined on scene. All injuries considered non-life-threatening.

#Breaking: Andrew White (seen leaving court) sentenced today after pleading guilty to hazing death of Adam Oakes (R). 12 months for both charges (hazing & buying alcohol for minor) with all 12 suspended. Given several other conditions in order to avoid jail time.

Regarding plea conditions, as explained by Oakes’ family, the restorative justice one will be a mediated meeting between them and White, no lawyers, where they can ask him questions about what happened that night. Commonwealth says it’s only been used a few times in the city.

The prosecutor said cellphone data led them to Samuel as the suspect. She added law enforcement found evidence Smith was in his house following her disappearance and that her body was recovered from his property.

The judge said he had to view Samuel as a danger to the community and even though he's on supervised probation for previous offenses, it couldn't guarantee the safety of the community or Samuel himself. His court-appointed attorney said she'd appeal the ruling.
