Thanks to @ESJS_Yk for a seamless rollout of the home testing kits for students. 10yo was eager to volunteer from the comfort of our living room before heading back to school tomorrow ❤️

Brd mtg in 3! @queserayk gave the Spirituality Report. Whenever we hear from Ms. McGee we hear how important the journey is in her design. It’s not just a Sacraments program, its helping students, teachers, and families understand how they are supported through it.
We agree with other education leaders across the NWT that this is the path forward in creating a safe workplace for staff and learning environment for our students.

The need to help students/families navigate learning has seen a spotlight in the last 18 months, but the truth is it was always there. Needs are ever changing and so are the skills to support them.
It’s important to keep investing in this program and it takes work- thank you!
So thankful for YCS’s newest IS coordinator, Seana who helped led this and make our PD a great day! Not to mention all YCS PSTs of last year to this year! Mission accomplished! @seanastewart11 @simonegessler @ycsnwt @CandaceYcs
