Today begins the celebrations for Dia de Muertos. More recently they began honoring pets with their own day which is today, 27th Oct. This is my ofrenda this year. I have to print out a picture of my grandmother still. This holiday is a beautiful one and I love celebrating it.

Guys, I caught the Jersey Devil and I think he’s mad. Should I offer him some Taylor Ham?

Approaching the final steps on this beast. Once I coat it with the filler, I can sand and paint it (and assemble the rest of his tail and legs). My neighbors are dying to see this done.

My Jersey Devil is finally being assembled and it’s massive. Now to fill the cavity with expanding foam for rigidity, sand it, add the Bondo, sand again, and finally paint. I also need to finish wiring the eyes up but that shouldn’t take long.

Colonia pizza makes this weather way more tolerable. Their pizza is some of the best. 🍕
