1. Plz stop calling #IndianPariahDogs, ‘free ranging’ or ‘stray’. These are not stray but natural being, naturally found near human settlements, not domesticated but commensal cum symbiotic to us Homo sapiens not unlike bed bug, house lizard, house crow, black kite etc…
Which is the strongest bovine in the world ?
No Gaurs, no Bisons, no Yaks.
It’s a bull African Buffalo.
African buffalos r d strongest, stockiest, stamina-est bovine in d world with no weak points for predators to target.
*Indian Gaurs (largest bovine) hv weak neck & legs.
Old is Gold.
This bull ‘african forest elephant’ might be old, lost his tusks but has got d wisdom, strength, size to go over the edge of the fastest flowing rapids of the world.
Here, he strikes gold- a rare nutrient rich plant found only at these fast flowing rapids

Caspian tigers extinct!
& humans introducing Amur tigers (Siberian tigers) to the area of caspian tigers.
Not on d notion- ‘tiger is a tiger’ (as India doing with cheetahs)
But on d belief- caspian ones were actually the caspian ecotype (not subspecies) of the Amur tigers 👍
Kazakhstan has released a second Siberian tiger, this time a male named Amur, into a nature reserve as part of an ambitious programme to restore wild tigers to the country.
Tigers have been extinct in Kazakhstan for more than 70 years.

Almost any big predator would have broken the neck of this calf within seconds.
So how did this wild beast calf still survive ?
Because of one fact.
What fact ?
The fact that cheetahs are not a Big Cat ! 😛😭😭
You’re more safe when there’re 4 tigers instead of 1.
4 tigers = 1 mother + 3 subadults.
And this is training period where a mom-tiger won’t train her cubs to kill a human or be a man eater (even if the mom is a secret man eater).
So guess what? This farmer is alive & fine!

A Silverback Gorilla dismantling a poacher’s snare.
Gorillas have not only learned to recognize traps, but have begun to disarm them as well to keep others safe.
It’s like a human forest guard but in the form of wildlife.
Beautiful
But in the behind the non native & invasive Lantana also in glory 🤷🏽♂️😛
Take a moment. Let your eyes linger on these two magnificent leopards, one wearing its rosettes like secrets beneath a cloak of black, the other revealing them in all their glory on gold ! Such extraordinary beauty that words simply fall away.
This magical moment was captured in the Nilgiris by Nithin Benny, who is documenting melanistic leopards.

Not injured.
Killed two people.
Why shouldn’t people take revenge ? It’s totally natural and within the ethics of nature to kill this bear, till you’re not using any tranquilliser, guns or any modern weapons/devices but killing old way, if you can !
Here’s another incident from the border area of Madhya Pradesh or Chhattisgarh, where a bear injured some people. The forest department team acted immediately, tranquilized the bear, and rescued it from a residential settlement located right in the middle of the forest.
Now look at these 21st-century people who continue to live in the heart of the jungle. How much love do they really have for the forest, and how much respect do they show for the wildlife that inhabits it? Governments, for their own political gains, refuse to relocate people from these critical forest areas.
Such cases always put me on edge. These kinds of childish and reckless actions keep turning into accidents, yet the blame is invariably placed only on the wild animal. The administration should punish people for such disgusting and foolish acts. Otherwise, these incidents are only going to increase in the future.
What purpose do such a long pair of horns serve ?
Most likely an adaptation to deal with (mugger) crocodiles.
So that horns go a full swing around the hind legs & the muggers can’t catch them from behind.
From front with those horns they can’t swallow them either.
Aah, u can’t do anything. If the tigress wants to live in Assam instead of sub Himalayan WB.
This is too much torture/interference.
Foothills tigers r semi-migratory in nature- won’t live at one place for long.
She’d be allowed to roam freely.

This is what we call meddling with wildlife/nature/forest.
Sal Borers are wildlife themselves, who we’re to interfere.
Such outbreaks are natural cyclic phenomena that destroy, creates & balance forests.
Now they’ll sell those timbers/dead woods belonging to forest ecology.
A fresh sal borer outbreak threatens Madhya Pradesh's forests.
More than 45,000 trees have been felled in Dindori after 150,000 were identified as affected last year. Now, fresh infestations are being reported, with villagers fearing the worst outbreak in decades, reports @bsrivas

Actually,
A Very Severe Cyclone (VSCS).
But IMD would still call it just a Severe Cyclone (SCS).
The Severe Cyclone Murasu has started doing landfall (in the belt #Nellore-#Narsapur)
The centre should pass near #Ongole during midnight.
Chennai & North TN already received good rains.
Poleward outflow looks strong, so the #CycloneMurasu would remain severe/strong for now.
That’s not hunting.
Plz stop defaming locals & fishermen

Hooray !
A baby born.
Everybody is so excited about this newborn.
But where is the father tusker ?
#Odisha #ElephantCalf
It happens.
Babies are cute but on purpose.
Being cute is an evolution & survival strategy as newborns/babies are fully vulnerable to enemies/predators.
A predator specially a female may not kill a baby on some occasion.

Cyclone (CS) formed.
By night it’d intensify into a Severe Cyclone (SCS).
Can it further intensify into a Very Severe Cyclone near the coast(VSCS) ? Let’s see.
