And when I say there is erasure of this desire, there’s a long list of people who have told me their doctor makes a directly negative comment or scoffs at them for wanting their cycle back. And this occurs in a private setting where no one is checking them on this

For all the talk about just “getting rid of” one’s period, I’ve worked with countless people who are looking to get theirs back bc frankly, they don’t feel well without it. There’s an erasure of this desire because it doesn’t serve markets & the institutions that support them

Gynecology as an industry largely finds ovulation and menstruation to be useless outside the context of reproduction. This is an inherently menstrual negative attitude that denigrates our total body physiology - but one they deploy onto patients as the medical authorities

Every time I’m able to help someone get their period back after months of amenorrhea I feel so accomplished! The superpower that is understanding menstrual physiology.

Wait I’m realizing V for Vendetta borrows the exact same motifs as the carnation revolution such as the literal rose, and the music as a decentralized coordination mechanism + symbol… just put that together omg

I love when the people get fed the fuck up and get active. That’s that autumn air I remember vividly, and every single autumn I think about revolution

Not in my house 😂 practicing secular FAM means maximum sexual gratification and contraception efficacy at the same time, but everyone stacks their contraceptives in the fertile window differently depending on comfort and skill
Kind of sucks that this solution means women are avoiding sex at the time of the month when they would most want to do it. Men not affected of course.

I teach contraceptive stacking in the fertile window in my intermediate course. Never skipped sex in the fertile window, in fact my charts show that on average we have more sex during the window than outside of it

Despite logically knowing all the fuck about hormones, when the senses guide him of my hormonal pattern (smell, taste, sight etc), it’s on those days specifically he will stop anything he’s doing to fuck 😂😂 Here’s a few fertile window examples #FAMTaughtMe

Laying down on the olive net feels so good. It’s the perfect picnic mat because it flattens the weeds, keeps bugs out, but you still feel like you’re laying in the grass
