You know what's more expensive than $4 a gallon gas? Paying student loans I never took out. Paying for free food for someone that shouldn't even be here. Paying healthcare for people that jumped the border. Paying for infrastructure in a country I've never been to. Paying for military protection for people that hate us. Paying the salary of politicians trying to destroy this country. Paying judge’s salary that no longer support justice. These things are costing me a hell of a lot more than a gallon of gas…

All in nearly two years, the Trump administration has: 💸Clawed back nearly $1 billion in wasteful spending aimed at illegal aliens and DEI programs. 💸Uncovered $500 million in fraud and waste in federal health benefit programs. 💸Cancelled 315,000 unauthorized Obamacare enrollments, saving taxpayers roughly $2.2 billion. 💸Charged 17 defendants in a $1.3 million Social Security fraud scheme.

From a post on FB…nothing truer! You can bury your head in the sand where politics is concerned but it won't do any good. We're in trouble here in the U.S. We were in trouble long before Donald Trump became POTUS so don't try to put this off on him. Democrats were in office 8 years before he was elected & then we had a nursing home patient for 4 years afterward. America fought in the Cold War for years before we defeated Communism but now we're electing Democratic Socialists (Communists) to public office. People from other countries flee to our country to escape Communism but we want to adopt it here. We all know how well that's going to turn out. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation & our lives are never going to be the same. I have been aggravated by the hostility of family/friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone. You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind. • If a man pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him. • Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America. • Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good. • It was cool for Joe Biden to 'blackmail' the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it. • Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote and go to war. And evidently, four or five is now old enough to change your gender or your name. • People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves. • People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees. • Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated. • Irish doctors & German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome. • $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for 'free' health care is not. • If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free. • We see other countries going Socialist & they've all collapsed but it seems like a great plan to us. • Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born & other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now. • Criminals are caught-&-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights. • And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us 'racists'?! Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no respect, no civility & people are dying of a Chinese virus, but it racist to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China. We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong & wrong is right, where moral is immoral & immoral is moral, where good is evil & evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right. Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, is taking on water & is sinking fast. The choice is yours to make. What will it be? Time is short, make your choice wisely. This is the truth.

GONNA VENT HERE!!!! I have lived through Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson,Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, G. H. W. Bush, Clinton, G. W. Bush, Obama, and Biden. In my lifetime have I never seen or heard of a President being scrutinized over every word he speaks, humiliated by the public to the point of wanting to hurt someone, slandered, ridiculed, insulted, and lied to. I have never heard their wives or children threatened, insulted, and humiliated. I am truly ashamed of the behavior of people in this country. I am ashamed of the ruthless, hating, cruel Trump haters who have no morals, and news reporters who feel they have the right to purposely lie and chastise the President. Every past President was left to run the country after they were elected and had taken the oath of office. They weren’t on the news 24/7 being drawn and quartered, every word and sentence dissected, constantly pressured to do this or that without an ounce of moral support. JUST IMAGINE HOW MUCH MORE HE COULD ACCOMPLISH IF HE DIDN’T HAVE TO DEFEND HIMSELF CONSTANTLY. ENOUGH is ENOUGH! LEAVE THE MAN ALONE! LET HIM DO HIS JOB!

I support a mosque being built anywhere in the US. I think it should be the goal of every American to be tolerant regardless of their religious beliefs. To promote tolerance, I would also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque. We could call one of the clubs, which would be gay, The Turban Cowboy and the other, a topless bar, would be called You Mecca Me Hot. Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and across the street, an open-pit barbecue pork restaurant, called Iraq of Ribs. We could also have a lingerie store called Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret and a liquor store called Mohammered. All of this would encourage Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us. Yes we should promote tolerance, and you can do your part by passing this on. 😎 I did my part 😉or we can just send them back to where ever they came from.....

I may be “BLACK,” but apparently I’m ADVANCED: I knew the difference between horse reins and a whip at the Southern Border. I knew the difference between a garage pull and a noose at NASCAR. I knew senile dementia when I saw it in a president. I knew MAGA black men weren’t out attacking black celebrities in Chicago on a freezing cold night. I know Kamala Harris is NOT Black. I know George Floyd was a criminal and a drug addict. I know white people aren’t holding me back. I know COVID was a hoax to increase vax sales. I know that if there really was cocaine in the White House, we all know whose it was. And I know that Donald J. Trump is the best and most fun president of my lifetime. What obvious things do you know to be true?

Many years have passed since the Vietnam War, but the images and actions of Jane Fonda sitting on that anti-aircraft gun in Hanoi remain burned into the memory of millions of Americans — especially those who served, fought, and lost loved ones in that conflict. She is still an American traitor in my book. Her decision to pose with enemy forces while American POWs were being tortured in the very same city was a betrayal that can never be washed away with time, apologies, or Hollywood awards. Some things aren’t forgiven just because decades go by. Loyalty to your country during wartime matters. What do you think? Is Jane Fonda still a traitor in your eyes too?

Donald Trump sacrificed a life most people could only dream of to fight for the American people. He didn’t have to run for president. He already had everything—wealth, success, a beautiful family, worldwide recognition, and the freedom to live a comfortable life without ever entering politics. Yet he willingly stepped into the arena knowing it could cost him dearly: billions in lost business opportunities, years away from his family, relentless attacks from the media, endless lawfare, two impeachments, criminal charges, and multiple assassination attempts. Through all of it, he never stopped fighting for the forgotten men and women of America—securing the border, bringing jobs and manufacturing back, cutting taxes, strengthening the military, brokering historic peace agreements, standing up to America’s enemies, and putting America First like no president in modern history. He took the arrows, the attacks, and the hatred so regular Americans could have a stronger country and a better future. He kept standing when most people would have walked away. He kept fighting when giving up would have been easier. He remained a fighter who refused to back down, no matter what they threw at him. Love him or hate him, no honest person can deny his passion, his determination, and the sacrifices he has made for this country. The best president ever. Thank you, President Trump.

The World Cup ends today. One game left. By tomorrow most of you visitors will be packing up, heading to the airport, going home. So before you go, let me say the thing I actually want to say. A few weeks ago I wrote a silly post about all the things you were discovering here. Free refills. Free water. Ice like civilized people. Chips and salsa before you even order. Air conditioning that is a fact and not a moral debate. Drive-throughs. Ranch by the gallon. The Germans standing in the HEB meat aisle in reverent silence, finally understanding why we do not have trains. Buc-ee’s, for which there are still no words. It blew up, because it was true, and because you were so delightfully stunned by all of it. Even the Wall Street Journal caught on. Their headline this week: how the US lost the World Cup and won over the world. We did not lift the trophy. But apparently we lifted something else. We even learned a few things about ourselves along the way. Like the fact that Elon Musk, the single richest man on the planet, shops at HEB. Just rolls in and queues up for fresh tortillas with everybody else. The man could buy the tortilla company, the state it is in, and the moon it sits under, and instead he is standing in line at the hot-tortilla counter like the rest of us, because that is where the good ones are. Only in America is the wealthiest human alive elbow to elbow with a mom of four at the salsa bar. That is the whole country in one aisle. And here is the part I want every one of you to hear on your way out the door. None of it was a show. We did not roll all this out because you were coming. The ice was always there. The refills were always free. The grocery stores were always the size of aircraft hangars at ten on a Tuesday. The stranger who adopted your whole section, the guy who gave you a ride, the waitress who remembered your order, the family that invited you to the cookout, that is not World Cup America. That is just America. That is Tuesday. We are exactly like this when nobody is visiting. Loud, generous, ridiculous, overfed, and genuinely thrilled you came. We will still be exactly like this tomorrow when the stands are empty and the flags come down. So thank you. To everyone who came, who sang in our streets, who cleaned our stadiums, who turned our cities orange and filled our bars and taught us your chants. You were wonderful guests, and you made a country that just turned 250 feel young and seen and loved. And to everyone who could not make it this time, the door does not close today. We meant all of it. Come whenever. The porch light stays on, the fridge stays full, and there is always room for one more at the table. You found out who we are these last few weeks. Good news. We are like this all the time. Safe travels home. Y’all come back now, you hear. 🦋

America turns 250 today. Let me read back the resume. We started by telling a king to pound sand, in writing. By 1803 we bought half a continent from France for about four cents an acre. We fought a war with ourselves and somehow stayed one country. We strung a railroad across the entire thing. We handed the world the lightbulb, the telephone, and the airplane in about thirty years flat. Then a man named Willis Carrier invented air conditioning and made half the planet actually livable. You are welcome, Texas. You are welcome, Dubai. Twice the whole world caught fire, and twice we showed up and helped put it out. We split the atom. We put men on the moon in 1969. Then we went back and hit golf balls up there, because why not. We invented jazz, blues, rock and roll, and hip-hop, and the whole planet is still dancing to it. We put a burger and fries on every corner of the earth. We built rockets that fly themselves home and land standing straight up. We flew a helicopter on Mars. We launched a car into actual space and it is still out there cruising. We also invented ranch dressing and somehow talked the entire world into putting it on pizza. Priorities. We even invented three of our own sports so we could win them. Baseball, basketball, and football. Real football, the kind with hands, because we named it and we are not taking corrections. The rest of the planet can keep soccer, which is fine, we are hosting it in our backyard this summer anyway. And yes, Canadian football exists, wider field, extra man, one fewer down, and we try very hard not to think about it. Frankly it was generous of us to invent our own games. If we put all that energy into soccer, nobody else would ever lift that trophy again. We would win it so often they would just rename it the America’s Cup and hand us the keys. You are welcome for the suspense. And in 2026 we threw a birthday so big a German tourist live-tweeted our gas stations to 750,000 people. Not every chapter was clean. We argued, we stumbled, we fixed what we broke, and we kept building. That is the whole trick. Two hundred and fifty years in, and we are still the loudest, brightest, most improbable experiment on the map. Not bad for a country that started as a strongly worded letter to a king. Happy birthday, America. 🦋
