A dejected and tearful DeVonta Smith sits on the floor of the Superdome following a 40-36 loss to Lutcher in the LHSAA Class 3A State Championship (12/10/2016) in his senior year of high school. DeVonta would go on to win two National Championships at Alabama, the Heisman Trophy and the Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles (including a touchdown reception) in that very same Superdome. Never give up. Realize your dreams. Congratulations, DeVonta!

MICHAEL JORDAN WORK ETHIC
βEvery day in practice was like that to me. It was a competition.
So, when the game comes, thereβs nothing that I havenβt already practiced. Itβs a routine.
Whatever happens in the game now, okay Iβve done that before.β

"Winning is fun... Sure. But winning is not the point. Wanting to win is the point. Not giving up is the point. Never letting up is the point. Never being satisfied with what you've done is the point."
