Meet Wicknell Munodaani Chivayo. 43 years old. Zimbabwean. Founder of Intratrek Zimbabwe. Known locally as "Sir Wicknell." He calls President Ruto his "father and mentor." He has visited State House Nairobi, Sagana State Lodge, and Wajir State Lodge. In February 2026, he was granted a Kenyan passport a fact made public not by the government, but by activist Boniface Mwangi.
Here is what Kenya needs to know about the man collecting Kenyan travel documents and government-adjacent contracts while barely out of Zimbabwean courtrooms.
In 2004, Chivayo was convicted of theft and illegal foreign currency exchange money laundering and sentenced to three years in prison, which he served at Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison. Not alleged. Convicted. Served time. Behind bars. In a maximum security facility.
He rebuilt. In 2015, his company Intratrek Zimbabwe was awarded a contract to construct a 100-megawatt solar power plant in Gwanda, for which it received an advance payment of US$5 million from the Zimbabwe Power Company without carrying out substantive work on the project. The lights never came on. The solar plant was never built. The $5 million was gone. He faced multiple rounds of criminal prosecution over the advance payment but due to his close alleged links to Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa, he was ultimately acquitted in 2024. Close political connections are a remarkable legal strategy. Highly effective. Zero costs.
Then in 2024, leaked audio recordings linked him to a US$100 million contract for the supply of election materials to the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission. His former business partners accused Ren-Form and Chivayo of inflating costs by up to 235%. South Africa's Financial Intelligence Centre investigation concluded that more than R800 million was transferred to the business bank accounts of Wicknell Chivayo from this deal. In December 2025, the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission closed its probe saying it could not find contractual evidence tying him to the deal. However, sources told the Zimbabwe Independent that the Hawks' investigation in South Africa was "very much alive." In April 2026, a South African High Court issued an anti-dissipation order freezing assets, bank accounts, and a private jet linked to several of his entities. South Africa's FBI equivalent is still on the case. The jet is frozen. The investigation is alive.
Now here is the Kenya chapter.
In June 2026, ZimLive reported that his company IMC Construction Kenya had won a stake in a US$2.9 billion contract to expand Jomo Kenyatta International Airport joining the Chinese state-owned China Communications Construction Company and its subsidiary, China Road and Bridge Corporation, as a joint venture partner. This is the same airport the Adani Group was supposed to expand until that deal collapsed in late 2024 following a US corruption probe and public backlash.
COFEK the Consumers Federation of Kenya had already petitioned the High Court in petition No. E083 of 2026 to bar Chivayo from Kenya entirely, citing his fraud and money-laundering record and tender scandals in Zimbabwe, including the Gwanda solar project and Zimbabwe Electoral Commission contracts. COFEK said IMC Construction Kenya is wholly owned by Chivayo and that the lobby raised concerns the company lacks an airport construction track record.
The government's response? Transport CS Chirchir said Chivayo does not appear in any bidding documentation as a contractor, partner, or joint-venture member. "We don't know this gentleman. I saw him for the first time in the media. He is not in any of our documentation," he said.
"We don't know this gentleman."
The same gentleman who visited State House. Who visited Sagana State Lodge. Who visited Wajir State Lodge on June 1, 2026 to discuss multimillion-dollar investment projects. Who was issued a Kenyan passport in February 2026. THAT gentleman, the government does not know him.
By the way, what if the likes of Jagero, Obinna, Mwafreeka, and YY Comedian are just miserable pick-mes who are only desperate to be in good books with the government?
"He gets paid to post about misfortunes." Boys, have the ghosts from 2024 been up in your roof? Absolutely nothing unethical about reporting misfortunes accurately. That is what Allan does; accurately.
There's everything morally and ethically wrong when the country's top leaders ship bags of money to a certain media personality who, in turn, dedicates his entire body, mind, and soul to cocksucking them!
1. He gets paid to post about misfortunes, if he was genuine, he could be doing it for free.
2. He is attacking podcasters this an agenda because aint attacking TV journalists hosting the same politicians?
3. What if a good politician gives you money? Will you decline it?
He earned over $31,000 during maandamano.
Bullshit!

Just to be clear, since UDA took over, Kenya has Imported and Exported more bullshit than actual trade goods.
He surely looks like a newly employed gardener who's yet to be familiar with his new surroundings.
How's this malnourished kid going to convince anyone that he's made it in life through trading?

Watch Ruto's desperation cross borders. You recently heard he procured a foreign PR machine to salvage his miserably irreparable image. All of a sudden, influencers from Uganda, Tanzania, India, and even South Africa🤣 are parading his 'little shiny things', built on taxpayer money, and asking why we detest him.
Uzuri ni: economy, Infaltion, empty hospitals, police murders, hunger, defunded education, shrinking democratic space, and stolen taxes are a lived reality. No amount of PR will rewrite them.

Why do Kenyans hate President William Samoei Ruto so much? Genuinely asking. The man is constantly criticised, yet his government is pushing infrastructure development and transforming parts of the country. What exactly is driving so much public anger towards him?
I bet my life on this; the more Ruto pays these international influencers to help change our stance, the more I feel disgusted with him.
Hey Barry, this is the exact reason we detest the man. He never worked when we gave him the opportunity. Instead of trying, he's paid lowlifes like you to sanitize his miserable and irreparable image.
Surely things are running out of hand for Kaongo and his operatives. After pocketing all local dimwits like Obinna, his PR machine has crossed borders to Tanzanian and Ugandan bloggers. Any funny clown who's likely to pop on your screen (like this guy below) has not been left behind.
The real pain is not on Twitter. It's in the ground. It's made of people who'll never see Xavier's endorsement from India!
Boys, you're always too slow, even on such simple matters. Paying attention to public expenditure and calling out foolish wastage has nothing to do with manufactured love for local football. Stay guided.

If I were Obinna, I'd abstain from responding to Allan Namu in any way. But we know he does not possess such wisdom. He'll come swinging in the dumbest manner!
Think of it, this is so true. Slow thinkers have been conditioned to see huge crowds all the time. They won't understand the ripple effect the strategy carries.

Meaning: citizens must stand guard for their country to ensure it is run constitutionally, efficiently and accountably. Citizens must hold officeholders to account by all means to ensure they deliver what they promised. ⚖️👁

" You cannot go around receiving money from politicians – money we know is dirty – to host events and then call yourself a journalist," – Award-winning investigative journalist John Allan Namu takes issue with podcasters whose fame, he says, has gone to their heads, as they lecture Kenyans while allegedly receiving money from politicians left, right and centre!

Kenya 🇰🇪 Let’s help each other. Please support my case at embassy, they seem to only advance government cartel’s agenda. Asante!

Rule of law? I got conned for $300k+ in Kenya with faced death threats and complete corruption by DCI and Police. Reported to IPOA over 7 months, complaints in person and written. Nothing, it seems it’s dysfunctional or hollowed.
Had to flee country because of abduction attempts by government officials colluding with criminals.
But my government gives the corrupt government appointees the credibility needed for marketing.
So embarrassing.

I think @sholard_mancity should go back to crowdfunding for those useless food chemical researches that never produced any substantive conclusion. Political propaganda and shaping narratives ain't your thing, really. You are too shallow, and a light weight feather at that.

Farhana, if a poor man in Korogocho, who can barely feed, medicate, or educate his kids, bought a 75' Smart TV for the same children, would that put them on Kilimani/Runda standards?
This is what it feels like trying to sell Kalonzo as the 2027 presidential candidate over Sifuna. Nobody's boarding.
🤖 Made with AI
Kalonzo Musyoka: My brother Eugene has jumped the gun and declared you a presidential candidate. You have to wait for the 13th of November. Huyu ako hapa ni party leader
