I love captions! We use them at home. I saw Barbie in theaters with captions. This is great news imo!! thebaltimorebanner.com/cultu…

I got to see an open caption movie in the theater today, and I can confirm that is the superior way to watch any film. If you don’t know what that is: (1/3) rev.com/blog/resources/open-…

I love to see this! The main argument against open captions has been that hearing audiences hate them. If hearing people are neutral or positive, that can mean a lot more access for the rest of us.

It was good, I’d like to see it again in open captions. The music was too overpowering for me during speaking scenes that I could only understand about half of what was being said. I’d give it a 4/5 from what I could hear

Went to @AMCTheatres with my Deaf daughter the other night to see @Barbie Words can’t describe the pure joy she experienced from having open captioning. First time I can remember having this since the Mamma Mia sing along edition years and years ago #AccessibilityIsAMust

My 12-year-old had appendicitis. The ER was overwhelmed with unvaccinated Covid patients and we had to wait 6+ hours. While waiting, his appendix ruptured and had to spend 5 days in hospital; just got hmo bill of $5000. So yeah, your decision to not vaccinate does affect others. – at Jensen Beach, FL

I often feel any movie that's already 90%-plus in subtitles should by law be fully captioned -- not only for this movie but also foreign movies being shown with subtitles (which often leave out descriptions of important sounds, the occasional line in English etc) @CaptionedWebTV xitter.cf/CeceBellBooks/status/9…
