Pour one out tonight for this poor guys Roman Reigns Super PC. Another guy looks like he graded his whole Charlie Chaplin photograph collection. Those people spent years collecting those things. Insurance can never replace that and PSA is going to low ball them. Sorry fellas.
We've shared an update on the investigation into stolen PSA shipments. psacard.click/CommunityUpdat…
For my vintage set collector friends on sports card X, do you collect all back variations of cards or just one for each card?
The craziest part to me is that every time one of these videos gets posted, there are people in the comments defending it like it's normal, always has been this way, and the person that posted it is just a hater.

The market has signaled that they care more about the market value of the card than a fast and accurate grade. We see this at shows where non-PSA booths have no line and lower prices while PSA's line is wrapped around the room.
That doesn't mean there shouldn't be options. It's just not where people are voting with their wallets.
Imagine walking into your local card shop, sliding a raw Michael Jordan into a machine, and walking out 5 minutes later with a freshly graded and slabbed card.
No shipping.
No 3-month wait.
No hoping PSA doesn’t ding it or get it stolen!
No human emotion or thought involved
Just: insert card → choose slab style → pay → AI grades it under perfect lighting → sealed slab pops out.
I have a feeling this will be the new norm so just imagine all the possibilities and so much less security issue with shipping!
So many people on X and other platforms going extreme lengths to blame PSA for a FedEx driver leaving their truck unlocked and unattended.
The more I worked with @scryfall data, the more empathy I gain for the maintainers.
Everything is a moving target with MTG. New sets don't follow conventions from previous sets, languages vary within a release, new frames/finishes added semi-regularly.
When will the remaining ~5-6 @yanxchick A&G cards unknown to the hobby be found? 🕵️♂️
So hypothetically, if PSA pays out the insurance for the stolen cards and some or all of the cards are recovered, who gets the cards?
Maybe the COLLECTOR ACTUALLY wanted the autograph 🤷♂️

I feel like a big part of the issue with this is that Wizards spent many years training players to care about every set and card before moving into the "this product is not for you" era and trying to teach everyone the opposite.
