🚨Jamaica, we cannot read this story and simply scroll past.
Delroy Britton is a father of three sons, all autistic. He walks them for about an hour to school in Mandeville because he is determined to give them an education and a chance at a better life.
But at home, his family is living without basic necessities. No electricity. No reliable potable water. A damaged roof. No fridge or proper cooking facilities. His sons sometimes have to depend on others just to charge their tablets.
He is currently out of work and still refuses to give up on his boys.
He wants to build a better life through livestock farming, but right now, this family needs help.
If you can assist with repairs, water, electricity, appliances, food, transportation, employment, livestock-farming support or financial assistance, please step forward.
And if you cannot give, share this post. Someone in your network may be able to change this family's circumstances.
Let us turn compassion into action.
Three boys deserve a safe home.
A father deserves a chance to provide.
And sometimes, all it takes is one person deciding to help.
🇯🇲 Please share widely.

Who the fuck cares?
You still grew up in South Africa.
Your grandfather was a notorious Canadian white supremacist.
Nobody can forget your brazen Sieg Heil salute.
And thanks to your closing of USAID, you are responsible for the deaths of 700,000 Africans and counting.

Meet Alena Analeigh McQuarter, a 17-year-old phenomenon and unstoppable young queen rewriting history in STEM and medicine! 👏🏽
At just 13 years old, she made history as the youngest Black student ever accepted into a U.S. medical school (University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine).
Now at 17, this powerhouse has already achieved what most only dream of:
• Graduated high school at 12
• Earned her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences and Master’s in Biological Sciences (both Summa Cum Laude) from Arizona State University by age 15
• Became the youngest person of color to intern at NASA (at just 12)
• Founded The Brown STEM Girl and The Brown STEM Girl Foundation — creating scholarships, mentorship programs, and global opportunities for girls of color in STEM
• Conducting advanced research in cancer immunology, virology, and global health
• Pursuing her PhD in Integrated Biomedical Sciences (focus on infection, immunity & inflammation) at Loma Linda University while on the path to her MD/PhD
• Initiated into Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. as one of the youngest members
From Texas to NASA to the frontiers of medicine — Alena’s journey is a powerful testament to discipline, brilliance, and purpose. She’s not just breaking barriers… she’s building bridges for every young Black girl behind her.
Her story is a powerful one. Keep shining, Queen! 👏🏽

No dream is too ambitious, no barrier too high. Victor Glover will soon become the first Black astronaut to fly to the moon on NASA's Artemis II mission. Representation matters. When our children look up at the stars, they need to see themselves reaching for them too. From Earth to the moon, we BELONG everywhere.

Black History Month is about honouring the past while celebrating the people and communities shaping what’s next.
This year in Canada, we’re honouring Black Brilliance Across Generations by spotlighting education, community, and culture. We’ll be celebrating historic spaces like Africville, community builders like Coach Lez and Kickback Foundation, and Black-owned businesses and organizations that celebrate diversity across our community.
Basketball lives everywhere Black culture lives.

Black History Month is a time to recognize the lived, shared experience of all Black folks who have fundamentally shaped, challenged, and ultimately strengthened America. It’s about taking an unvarnished look at the past so that we can create a better future. As we mark 100 years of celebrating Black history, let’s honor the sacrifices of the leaders who came before us, and recommit ourselves to continuing their work.
