This is a very interesting study from Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. It suggests that SARS-CoV-2 may be evolving in a way that makes it increasingly difficult for the human immune system to recognize the virus in the first place—not simply harder for existing antibodies to neutralize it.
So now one has to wonder whether if fewer naïve human B cells can recognize an evolved virus, will the vaccines even work? Will they have a difficult time recruiting genuinely new B-cell specificities?
Doesn't this seem like an issue worth considering @FDADrugs @FDA @CDC @NIHDirector_Jay?

Obviously covid infections don't affect you the same way each time.
We've known that for six years, right from the very earliest infections.
Different short term impacts, different long term impacts.
A friend of mine has just been hospitalised by his *sixth* infection.

Ebola’s spread to Nigeria and Kenya is a disaster.
Any local community spread in these populous countries will herald travel restrictions, first regionally, then globally.
BDBV is a slow motion train wreck.
It will jump more borders.
It could shut down travel from large parts of Africa.
There will be imported cases in the developed world.

🚨🇫🇷 BREAKING:
France has confirmed the world’s FIRST known human infection with the Shamonda virus...
The patient has died.
It was previously believed to only affect animals.
First identified in Nigeria in the 1960s, it spreads through tiny biting insects called midges and has been circulating among European livestock throughout 2026.
Now it has jumped to a human for the first time in recorded history...
French authorities say there is currently no evidence of widespread human transmission and no identified risk to the general population.
For now.

FYI, "It is estimated that at least 400 million individuals worldwide currently suffer from long COVID.
Common symptoms [of long COVID] include chronic fatigue, shortness of breath, brain fog or exercise-intolerance..
[Furthermore,] acute infections can contribute to the development of new chronic diseases, including cancer..
Large cohort studies have shown increased post-acute risks of chronic conditions including new onset of diabetes and autoimmunity development after SARS-CoV-2 infection..
elevated cardiovascular risk can persist for months..
even acute, non-persistent infections can influence cancer biology..
For instance, prior severe respiratory viral infection with SARS-CoV-2 or influenza was linked to accelerated lung cancer growth in mouse models and increased subsequent lung cancer risk among patients hospitalized for COVID-19.."

UPDATE: Suspected COVID-19 in the general BELGIUM population( Oct 14th, 2026)
🚨Roughly 1 in 8 Belgians could have COVID-19!
Source: Infectieradar.be
The incidence of participants with COVID-19-like symptoms increased from 110 →128 per 1,000 participants and we also know PCR/RAT testing is very unpopular!
Quick reference scaling:
• Per 1,000 people: 128 cases
• Per 100,000 people: 12,800 cases
• Percentage of population: 12.8%
➡️Estimated possible Covid-19 cases in Belgium: 1,520,000( That’s 1 in 8)!
This graph shows the number of participants per 1,000 with COVID-19-like symptoms over time, knowing that wastewater FLU/RSV levels are very low/non-existing!

Cuidado, no es por alarmar, pero atentos porque son varios los tweets que he leído ya que afirman que lo que ha pasado en Rusia no es por peste neumónica sino por una neumonía letal “de origen desconocido”.
Recemos porque no sea así. 🙏

It doesn't seem that a test tube was broken and it is not clear that this was "The Plague" (Yersinia Pestis). Stay tuned. It may be that no one else gets sick, or maybe so. It's not clear just what this is.

FYI, "Most people who die of COVID-19, seasonal flu, or a bacterial infection technically die of sepsis – their organs shut down under the weight of the body's own runaway inflammatory response..
In-hospital sepsis mortality [in the US] rose 37.5% among patients 65 and older, and 44% among adults 18–64, between 2019 and 2021.
The steepest relative jump in sepsis mortality was among younger adults..
An estimated 36,000 sepsis deaths occurred in 2020 alone, beyond what pre-pandemic trends would have predicted..
Post-sepsis syndrome – lasting cognitive and physical effects seen in up to half of survivors – extends the true cost of pandemic-driven sepsis well beyond the initial hospitalisation, in much the same way long COVID has..
sepsis was formally coded in only about 9% of COVID deaths, while clinical and autopsy studies find sepsis present in 52–93% of those same deaths.
The official numbers understate the true toll – by the data's own admission."
Long COVID is similar to long sepsis.
