To all of you out there who think this war started on October 7, 2023, I’ve got news for you.
This war started a long time ago.
I believe Hamas deliberately planned October 7 to provoke Israel into war, deceive world opinion, and turn international outrage against Israel.
And perhaps they’re succeeding. Perhaps the world will continue to condemn us, hate us, and blame us for defending ourselves.
But here’s something you need to understand: our right to exist and defend our people does not depend on the world’s approval.
To Hamas and anyone who thinks they can attack my country, murder our people, and expect us to surrender, I have a very simple message:
