(4/4) In practice, this means seeing tenant comms not as a process but as part of an architecture of listening and learning, integral to good quality and standards. Building that holistic voice architecture helps persuade and advocate externally too.

Last week my supply was cut off by @YourSSE @OVOEnergy and I was moved to a prepayment meter, remotely, without notice or consultation…
In my case I had paid my bill and after almost 5 hours of calls they’ve acknowledged an admin error and agreed to reinstate the original account. But has given me a first hand insight into the ‘computer says no’ culture and systems fails that is forced on vulnerable ppl
Remote switching shouldn’t be allowed as when this happened to me, @OVOEnergy hadn’t even given me an account number to top up and it took an hour on hold to pay. Also the fact that not being able to pay energy bills is labelled “self-disconnection” is morally repugnant @ofgem

Just doing some research while on hold to @yoursse @OVOEnergy ‘emergency’ line. Seems their disconnecting my power twice this week isn’t just an admin fail (to recognise my bill payment), they’ve neglected due process - no contact, no visit. And I have a toddler 🤦🏻♀️
