It was never about the destination, but damn did it feel good to cross that finish line. Four months of training while raising close to $4,000 for Alzheimerās. Thankful for my friends and family that showed up and watched. Grateful that my body kept up. š

Matt LaFleur on if he expects Micah Parsons to start practicing next week:
āI sure hope so.ā
Thats a different answer than heās given before.
So youāre saying thereās a chance?
āIām saying thereās a chance.ā
Zaire Franklin will be OUT vs. Carolina, per #Packers HC Matt LaFleur.

What you are feeling is real weezy
The Packers rank last in penalty "luck" through 7 weeks. Mostly due to defensive holding and roughing the passer calls on the defense
My take on the game that was played between the #Packers and Lions on Sunday:
The Packers are 2-1 in games decided by 3 points or less this year. They barely beat the Jets in OT and they barely got by a banged up Buccaneers team that had to roll out an Undrafted rookie quarterback ā the combined record of those two teams now is 4-10. š¤·āāļø
The officiating aside, thereās so much noise around this Lions game simply because it was a loss. Green Bay didnāt play good football against those other two teams and scathed by, they didnāt get as lucky against Detroit.
Yesterday, Tucker Kraft said: āYou make too many mistakes against a team like that, you lose.ā
Now, was the officiating bad? Yes. Did some of these calls happen during critical moments? Absolutely. Did the referees impact the outcome of this game? For sure. But did the referees go 5/15 on 3rd-down? Nope. Did the referees average 3.2 yards per rush attempt? Nope. Did the referees go 1/4 in the redzone? Nope.
Was it not Karl Brooks that committed that false start at the end of the game? That was definitely a penalty, by the way.
And this stuff has plagued Green Bay all season long: 30th in redzone efficiency, most penalties committed per game (9.3) by any team around the league, and theyāre only converting 35% of their 3rd downs (28th worst mark in the NFL).
Oh, and the Packers still donāt have a run game.
None of it is winning football. Weāre just talking about it more because the Packers lost.
Not great by any means, but it sounds like the #Packers avoided anything long term.
#Packers LB Zaire Franklin, who missed last weekās game after getting accidentally kicked in practice, suffered a hairline fracture in his leg, sources say.
Green Bay did not place him on Injured Reserve, and they believe he can return while missing minimal games.
Outside of that Week 5 win over the Bears, we still haven't seen this #Packers team put it all together. Today, special teams was bad, more penalties, and the lack of a run game continues to hold this team back.
My recap of Green Bay's loss to Detroit for @WFRVSports:
Nobody will argue there were some questionable calls today, however, the officiating didn't lose the #Packers this game, they did. There was a lack of execution, and they didn't play well enough to beat the Lions.
@ByRyanWood and I recap what happened earlier at Ford Field:
#Packers HC Matt LaFleur may not have said much after the game about the officiating, but he made sure the referees knew that he was frustrated with the calls while the game was still going on:
I asked Josh Jacobs if heās pictured what his debut at Lambeau will look like on Thursday:
"I try to be where my feet are, but I'd be lying to you if I said I hadn't thought about how it's gonna be."
Recap of what I heard the in #Packers locker room tonight (10/25):
S Xavier McKinney said heās not happy with the officials right now.
RB Josh Jacobs said he felt a step slower in that first half, and then caught a rhythm in the second half.
TE Tucker Kraft said heās not āblaming the loss on the refsā. He said this loss was a āculmination of errorsā.
WR Christian Watson says the team has to flip the page quick, with the Panthers coming to Green Bay on Thursday.
#Packers safety Xavier McKinney just went on a five-minute rant about the officials.
āIām not a big fan of the officials right now⦠this is b*****t.ā
The #Packers just did not execute well enough to beat the Lions today:
- Two missed field goals
- Eight penalties for 81 yards
- 3.2 yards per rush attempt
- 5/15 on 3rd down
- 1/4 in the redzone
Just not winning football... Green Bay loses to Detroit 20-17. @WFRVSports
Jared Goff is the first quarterback to have more than 300 passing yards against the #Packers this season. He has been sensational.
Goff: 22/32, 303 passing yards, 2 TD
I know Dan Campbell is known for being aggressive but that was so stupid. You're almost guaranteeing points for the opposition. #Packers
