Britain’s most notorious prisoner, Charles Bronson (real name Michael Gordon Peterson), has been filmed singing to his 96-year-old mother, Eira Peterson, ahead of his ninth parole hearing.
In a video recorded inside prison, he croons “What a Wonderful World” and sends her a message: “Alright my old Duchess, how are you girl? It’s me, it’s Charlie. Not seen you for a while – about nine years. Don’t forget you’re always in my heart.”
Bronson was first jailed in 1974, aged 21, for armed robbery. He has been released only twice since, briefly in 1987 and again in 1992 and has remained in prison since 1993.
In 2000 he received a life sentence for false imprisonment after taking a prison art teacher hostage for 44 hours. Over the decades he has taken 11 hostages across nine sieges and spent much of his time in solitary confinement or high-security units.
Now 73, he is serving an indefinite sentence and is currently making his ninth bid for parole.

I’m a Middlesbrough fan, after watching this game I think the powers that be have decided Man City aren’t winning the league, just like they did last year towards the end of the season with all them dubious decisions going against them and Arsenal getting a lot going their way
This
2 blatent hand balls in the box
Gvardiol being wiped out in the box
None of them was checked by VAR? We all love to moan after a loss but that was quite literally the most bent game ive watched in years

How on earth this is not a BACK PASS ? I am sorry but Man City have been robbed off here !! #MCIBHA nitter.gq/Eli_Sam_/status/211656…
Its so blatent to see
Paul Dikov on the controversial ref decision regarding Brighton two handball
🗣️: “This is totally unacceptable, the club is being robbed by an incompetent ref in their own home.
Two clear handballs in the opposite box and it wasn't even checked. Terrible tackle on Gvardiol in their box, Haaland had to help him up and the ref just ignored it.
This isn't a fair game at all. They're basically doing everything to frustrate the club. I hope someone calls the ref to order.”
In other words, everyone they have reached out to rejected the job
🚨 Manchester United have decided to continue with Michael Carrick as head coach.
Despite Bournemouth and Como defeats, #MUFC hierarchy decides to give Carrick more time to fix things. Player also informed.
Up next: Chelsea-Man United on Saturday. Carrick will be there.
Meanwhile united are still crying about their owners 😂😂
Remember we have the bad owner tho 🤡

I live next to the Etihad Stadium, and I’ve watched my neighbourhood transform because of the investments made by the Manchester City owners So when this clown opens his mouth, it’s an insult to everyone who actually lives here. If you were the “journalist” you pretend to be, you’d get off your sofa, come to my area, and speak to real people instead of inventing stories from the comfort of your living room you pathetic morons.
Off to a flying start (took a loss)
