While Anthony was flying drones over my barn, I was in small businesses and union halls across the North Country listening to people who can’t afford diesel, groceries, or a trip to a hospital that keeps cutting services.
That’s the difference in this race.
He’s running a reality show. I’m running to lower costs, protect rural healthcare, and clean up Washington. Republicans, independents, and Democrats are coming along because they’re tired of the circus.

Last night Laura and I were honored to participate in a celebration at the Statue of Liberty hosted by the French Consulate in New York. The event included a special illumination of Lady Liberty and flyover by the French Air Force to celebrate America’s anniversary and mark 250 years of Franco-American friendship.
Grateful for @GovSherrillNJ’s reminder of the importance to the very hopeful idea of American liberty from each word of Emma Lazarus’ poem inscribed at the pedestal: “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
