#FallIntoHealthyHabits: Ocular Edition
Happy #WorldSightDay! When it comes to staying healthy, we can't forget our 👀 EYES! Many eye diseases, such as uveal melanoma (the most common form of eye cancer), can have no symptoms, so regular exams — including dilated eye exams — are critical to early diagnosis.

Castle announces the publication of a study showing that the TissueCypher® Barrett's Esophagus Test helped guide risk-aligned management decisions for patients with non-dysplastic Barrett's esophagus (NDBE). In the study, clinicians changed their management recommendations 90% of the time after receiving TissueCypher results, including escalating management for all patients with intermediate- or high-risk results and de-escalating management for 84% of those with low-risk results.
The study, titled "The Tissue Systems Pathology Test Guides Physician Recommendations for Patients With Non-Dysplastic Barrett's Esophagus: A Case Series From a Gastrointestinal Surgery Center," was published in Foregut: The Journal of the American Foregut Society and is linked in the press release: hubs.la/Q04yBtbh0
Castle announces the publication of a new study highlighting the challenges patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) experience in achieving their treatment goals and strong patient interest in molecular testing to help guide systemic therapy selection.
"One thing came through clearly in this study: patients want better control of their disease and more information to help guide their treatment decisions," said study author Diego Ruiz Dasilva, M.D., board-certified dermatologist at Forefront Dermatology in Virginia Beach, Virginia. "AdvanceAD-Tx gives us an opportunity to bring objective molecular information into those conversations, helping personalize systemic treatment decisions and expedite the path to an effective therapy and symptom relief."
