A Gold Sponsor partnership built on impact, engagement, and shared ambition. At #EAinfosec2026, Dumisani Mukansi, President and CEO of Dugson Consulting, shared reflections on Dugson’s journey into the Ugandan market and their experience as Gold Sponsor of this year’s conference. For Dugson Consulting, the conference created a powerful platform to engage with senior leaders, decision-makers, professionals, and organisations shaping Uganda’s digital future. Through conversations around cybersecurity, content management, quality engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, and digital transformation, Dugson highlighted its commitment to supporting organisations with solutions that strengthen trust, security, quality, and performance. We sincerely appreciate Dugson Consulting for their support as Gold Sponsor of #EAinfosec2026, and we look forward to continued partnership as they contribute to Uganda’s growing IT and digital trust ecosystem. Partnerships like these help move the conversation from technology to real impact. #EAinfosec2026 #ISACAKampalaChapter #DugsonConsulting #GoldSponsor #DigitalTrust #Cybersecurity #QualityEngineering #ContentManagement #DevOps #DevSecOps #DigitalTransformation #Uganda #EastAfrica

New week, fresh focus! As you step into Monday, remember protecting personal data starts with the small habits we practice every day. Avoid leaving sensitive information whether business or personal exposed in open workspaces. A simple action like clearing your desk or locking your screen can make a big difference. Let’s make this week intentional, secure, and accountable. #PersonalDataisPrivate #DataPrivacyUG

The Uganda Bankers’ Association (UBA) Member CEOs and Heads of Legal participated in the High‑Level Gumzo Breakfast on Resolving Financial Disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The #GumzoLaADR2026 session was graced by the Chief Justice, Hon. Justice Dr. Flavian Zeija, and the Minister of Justice & Constitutional Affairs, Hon. Norbert Mao. Key stakeholders from the banking and financial services sector convened to explore practical approaches to strengthening dispute-resolution mechanisms across the industry. It was a highly productive engagement, with several key takeaways to guide UBA and the sector in advancing ADR: - Creating greater public awareness about the existence and effectiveness of ADR mechanisms. - Training specialized mediators and arbitrators in banking and finance. - Redesigning banking and financial contracts to incorporate clear and enforceable ADR clauses. - Encouraging top‑level bank management to actively participate in resolving disputes through ADR. UBA remains committed to working with stakeholders to promote efficient, accessible, and effective dispute resolution mechanisms that strengthen confidence in Uganda’s financial sector. @ICAMEK1, @alpeastafrica, @stanbicug, @housingfinanceU, @dfcugroup, @financetrustug, GT Bank, @CairoBank, @JudiciaryUG

Ever sat in a meeting where everyone is “aligned”… but no one can explain who decides what? 😅 That’s usually a governance vs management mix-up. One-line difference: ✅ Governance decides what outcomes matter and what risk is acceptable. ⚙️ Management decides how to deliver those outcomes—day to day. In simple terms: 👥 Board / Steering Committee: “We must reduce fraud losses by 30% this year, stay compliant, and protect customer trust.” 🛠️ Teams / Leaders: “We’ll implement stronger controls, train staff, update monitoring, and track progress monthly.” How you can spot the difference fast: 🎯 Governance asks: “Are we doing the right things?” 📈 “Are we getting value?” ⚠️ “Is risk within appetite?” 📌 “Who is accountable if it goes wrong?” 🚀 Management asks: “Are we doing things right?” 🧩 “Do we have the people, budget, and tools?” ⏱️ “Are we on schedule?” ✅ “Are controls operating effectively?” Micro-test: If the conversation is about direction, accountability, and risk appetite → governance. If it’s about execution, processes, and delivery → management. 💬 In your org, where do you see this get mixed up the most—projects, cyber risk, or audit findings? #ISACAKampala #Governance #Management #GRC #ITGovernance #CyberGovernance #RiskManagement

THE AI "CONFIDANT TRAP"; Sharing your secrets with chatbots feels safe but your private data is memorized, stored forever, and can be accidentally leaked to others. Think twice before confiding in AI.~ Mr. @Birikujja #BeeraKuGuard || #CyberSecurity #DataProtectionAndPrivacy
