Last Sunday, during Barcelona’s away match at Elche, a Barça fan was stopped and seriously assaulted by the Spanish police for carrying an “Estelada”, the flag of an independent Catalonia. The incident sparked widespread backlash and controversy, while Barcelona also issued an official statement condemning the police assault. The day before yesterday, during Barcelona’s home match against Athletic Bilbao, Barça fans reacted to what happened like this.
